First off let me start by saying I know alot of you will say OMG another thread about siging any player that gets cut. But first look at this list and think hard if any of these players could help this team. I think they could. We might not look at any and they might not get cut. But Im interested to see if you guys like any of these players. Some are still good players who are being replaced by someone the team thinks is better some rookies so who knows. But most of these guys are proven and could help our team. Ill start with the needs more like WR and CB

#1 Matt Jones 25 6'6 238 1st round pick
Stats 07 24 rec 317 yds 4 TD's 05 36 rec 432 yds 5TD's
06 41 rec 643 yds 4TD's
I know we have Wilford but JOnes would be another red zone threat and can play if hes thrown the ball. He is better than Hagan and Camarillo .

#2 Ashley Lelie 28 6'3" 193 1st round pick
He has had bad Qb last couple of years but in 2004 he had
54 Rec 1084 yds 7TD's and he has had some other decent
years that being his best but he can run routes and catch

#3 Randle El 28 5'10" 192 2nd round pick
Remember last year he torched us for 165yds I wouldnt spend alot
on him but he can return punts and kicks. in his 6yr career he has
245 rec 3091 yds 11TD's in 2007 51 rec 728 yds 1TD
Career KR 79 1759 yds 1TD Punts 241 2145 yds 5TD

#4 Joe Jurevicius 33 6'5" 232
2007 50 rec 614 yds 3TD He has always proven to be a threat
and must be covered or he will make plays. He could come in and
be a mentor to Ginn.

CB #1 Ashton Yobouty 23 5'11" 189
Has a lot of potential that is yet to be shown. They had high hopes
for him in Buffalo and he is young so he still has a shot and is cheap

#2 Samari Rolle 31 6'0" 175
I know he older but is a good corner and better than Lehan
So why not I think hell retire and would be just as happy to
bring in Andre Dyson but hes still a Free Agent so who knows

#3 David Barrett 30 5'10" 195
Got benched in favor of Poteat and Revis but has ability
He had 63 tackles and 1 INT in limited playing time

#4 Stanley Wilson 25 5'11" 189
Hefner called this a shocker cut so there must be some talent
there and he is still young enough to develop

LB #1 Bobby Carpenter 24 6'2" 257
Has played crappy in Dallas but the most likely BP will bring in
on the list. He could develop here and we tried to get him in the
Fasano trade but couldnt

#2 Brady Poppinga 28 6'3" 245
Im not sure why GB would cut him he is a solid LB I guess Chillar
but he might want to play here with his brother. I like him
better than Crowder and Torbor.

Safety #1 Greg Wesley 30 6'2" 206
Career 592 tackles 6sacks 29 ints . Im not sold on Bell yet and
he cant stay healthy I think Wesley has some gas left in tank

DE #1 Leonard Little 33 6'3" 263
If we trade JT for Lito like IM praying for we need a pass rusher
He is old like JT and had a down year last year but in 2006 he had
60 tackles 13.5 sacks and 7 FF and in 2007 he only played 7
games and had 19 tackles and a FF and 1 sack Depending on the
price I like him

QB #1 Chris Simms 27 6'4" 220 BP liked his dad and he is a tough player
I think its possible we see him in MIA.

Out of all these players I like Matt Jones, Poppinga, Little and Lelie
I think like I said Carpenter will be here if he is cut and Simms could be sitting the bench here too.

matt jones and bobby carpenter are worth a look.

don't think parcells would let jones be lazy here and let all that talent go to waste.

and we need ILB's. bad.

the only guy i disagree with is ashley lelie, i liked him coming out of college but never lived up to the 1st round status and i dont think he ever will. he struugled when he had a guy like jake plummer throwing the ball to him

Out of this list I would not mind getting ...

Matt Jones
Antwaan Randel-El
Stanley Wilson
Samari Rolle

I doubt Bobby Carpenter gets cut or they would have traded him to us for that 4th rd pick....

Also, we have Brady Poppinga's brother on the roster. I don;t care for Brady Poppinga, but it would be interesting to have the brothers on the same team.

Simms? I dont see that fit at all.

Carpenter would likely be scooped up, but I dont see him being cut.

I think Yobouty would be an interesting option. I thought the Bills stole him a couple of years ago. Obviously has not shown much, but we are due for a low-risk pickup to pan out.

I think its a pretty dumb list. Maybe one or two of them gets cut.

if the players on your list are cut,i could possibly see the first 3,and Bobby Carpenter being brought here to be looked at and try out for a spot on our team.

Not sure I agree, but then again, I dont think we know for sure where they plan to put Torbor. He was at ILB, but that was before the Ayodele pick up. I dont see it as a major need at this point.

Antwaan Randle El.

Could well get cut after their draft and if the price was right would be an awesome pick up.

Ginn
Randle El
Wilford

From bottom 5 receiver corps at the end of last year, to conceivably top 5 in the space of 3 months.

These are the sort of moves that Cameron was scared to make and Parcells appears to be to proud to make that I think would get us contending much quicker. Whether BP wants that to happen is open to conjecture. If Antwaan made us a 45% team rather than a 30% team, that might cost us a superstar in the draft.

Sorry to be pecimistic and sceptical but... plausible.

Is there a reason no one besides me mentions Jurevicious? The guy fits the mold of what Parcells likes in a receiver. He would be a great option for the role they wanted Keyshawn for.

You're joking on those two points, right? Must be. Because those are the most ridiculous statements I have ever heard
