At least for this team. Henne is Sparano's guy. Their fates are tied. If Matt Moore or David Garrard or god help us Jake Delhomme is leading this team, then we're in a race for 1st...the 1st pick of the draft that is. And when Sparano gets booted, whoever comes in is gonna want Luck. And if it comes down to a quarterback competition and Henne still somehow is on this team, he's 2nd string behind the first pick in the draft, even as a rookie.

We've been in that race for the 1st pick in next years draft since 3 games before the end of last season.

As it should be. Henne isn't going to be the guy. He isn't going to win us games on his own. I thought they bonded over the lockout.. only to find communication problems?

Henne may even be done in the NFL in general.

If the stars align, Sausage boy & Ireland get the boot, we get the first pick and attain Luck. I would be happy as hell if Henne stayed as our #2.

BUT !!! this is the Miami Dolphins we are talking about.

Jake is still living off the money the Panthers and another team gave him last year for sucking...I think each team gave him around $7 million. Jake Del-Homie is the last person I want to see in a Phin's uni.....Gerard doesn't even want to play in Miami, apparently Miami only is offering him the minimum pro rated for the rest of the season and he said, "No thanks." We might as well stick with Moore, and Suck for Luck.

With our luck, Luck sucks!

This sucks, I'm actually a Henne fan and it looked like he was finally showing promise under a real OC. Was he there yet? No but I think he was well on his way to becoming a very good quarterback in this league.

I highly doubt he's done in the nfl in general. He may even be competing for a starting job elsewhere next year, assuming we don't resign.

I think someone will pick him up for sure. I just don't think he has what it takes to be successful anywhere else. I don't know of any of our QB cast offs that have been successful anywhere.

He can be a starter again, if the #1 and #2 for the team he is on, get hurt.

Real OC? Looks like the same crap performace for this offense as the last 2 years.

Who is this real OC you speak of?

Aren't we ranked in the top 10 in offense?? I know we have our redzone deficiencies but I've still impressed with the overall attacking philosophies that we have now compared to the last couple of years

If he goes on IR, there is a very good chance he is done.
