Watch Coach S's press coverence on auquavision from yesterday.

he seems high on hilliard. Says he has a "full plate" of special teams. and he might even try him returning. Says he wouldnt mind seeing him getting reps against 1st/2nd stringers in upcoming game. he talked highly of him "hes a big back who runs big"

He also stated that the 4th and 5th wide out most likely needs to play alotta special teams.

So in my opinion if hilliard continues to do well, the coaches keep him on and axe a wide out so we go down to 5 with 4 actives a game.

i see it as Ginn, bess, harline, camorillo. the duel will be between turner and london. The coaches are high on harline and hes also doing alotta ST's. Either bess gets the start or Cam gets it so bess can play slot. Maybe harline gets the starting spot with bess and cam in on slot and 3rd down situations. only other possibility is cam on PUP but idkk they are high on guys like him and hartline it seems. i def have a feeling hilliard stays and at least one reciever we are high on gets axed b/c they might even only keep 4 or keep london for his consistant special teams play leaving turner axed. thoughts?

No way they are going to cut Turner, he's a 3rd round pick....London probably won't make the 53.

I agree. Ginn, Camarillo, Bess, Hartline for the gamedays with Turner also on the active roster. The only way that changes is if London looks like Jerry Rice tomorrow night and/or Camarillo opens the season on the PUP list.

I think if Hilliard still looks good this seals that we will only carry 5 wrs.
The bad thing is that in reality we have only two TE's that are NFL worthy but wil probably keep three.

I will be really bummed if Hilliard doesn't make the squad. Yes he has seen little time against defensive starters but I still like what I see. Plus the dude seems like a class act. Hate to see anyone on the bubble get the axe but when a guy like Lex just seems to be a more valuable player than some of our back end WRs. The front office has some tough decisions to make in regards to Lex, WRs, and Linebackers. Not a bad problem to have when the talent level is there.

Wll ith RB there will be alot of good backs that get cut from many teams.

As long as nobody goes down at WR, having five should be more than enough as long as Hilliard and Hartline carry their weight on special teams.

One I can think of won't be named Hilliard. These guy's want to run the ball, then throw. Receivers don't seem to be as important as RB's when you factor in special teams. I fell sorry for London, maybe he makes the practice squad if he is eligble. Turner is not going anywhere... he has, if nothing else third round 'value'.

dont feel sorry for any player with this regime all they have to do is go out there and perform if they do that they make the team and get playing time.

could do that, and then we cut someone week six or cam goes on IR

I dont feel sorry for London he had his chances and did not take advantage of them. When you ask about a receiver and the only real positive u can say is special teams then u really have proved nothing as a wide receiver

Patrick Turner is making this team. London is the guy I believe who gets cut in favor of keep Hilliard.

Your exactly right. I believe some of the last few spots on offense will come down to either carrying 4RBs or 6WRs. That means its down Hilliard and London.
I'm also interested in the OLB battle with Walden and Moses. I believe Moses has stepped up his game and has beat Walden for the final OLB position. My only worry is Moses is horrible on Special Teams. What do you think?

very doubtful; we cut Hartline or Turner. This rarely ever happens with draft picks this high
