This is the one thing I hate about Hard Knocks. There is no way to hide Hogan on the practice squad after tonights show if he does not make the 53 man roster. He will be picked up so fast after tonights show

Good thing there's 3 more preseason games and about a month left before the regular season starts to see if he can continue the good work before we have to make that decision.

I think he will make the team. After Bess and Hartline there isn't much anyway

hopefully he won't turn into a new wes welker

That was also my immediate gut reaction after Reggie, who knows a thing or two about receivers, nicked him "7-11"

Based on what this episode showed I would be very surprised if he does not make the roster. He seems to be a perfect fit for the WCO and he has more of an immediate impact than many of our other WRs. As the pre-season games roll on hopefully he gets more looks in game.

You never know what's going on internally with the team, even with hard knocks cameras around. The coaches aren't stupid, they have noticed hogan, too. Keep you hopes up gentlemen, never know how this turns out for us.

Belichick will sign him if we don't fit him in our 53.

Guys appreciate the enthusiasm... But let's be honest here... I work in film and remember it is EDITED to create drama and to elicit emotion... You have no way of knowing how good or bad he really is.. They are taking sound bites sometimes completely out of context to paint the picture they (the producers) want... it's good entertainment. if another team takes a run at someone on our roster because of a Hard Knocks episode... Well so be it... but it's kind of like drafting a guy based on a highlight reel.

I really do hope we have a gem there but don't trust everything you see.

Dude will make the 53........where has BJ Cunningham been??? Anybody???

BJ is dealing with a similar issues a lot of big WRs deal with coming into the NFL. At Michigan State he was bigger and stronger than the DBs he went up against. He may be bigger than the DBs in the NFL, but he is no longer stronger. Now reports state he's been getting better, but he may get stashed on the PS. Rishard Matthews seems like he'll get a shot as the return man. BJ doesn't offer that.

As for Hogan, we gotta see it in a game situation, but he has potential

Id like to see him with someone other than Devlin throwing him the ball. Devlin obviously missed him when he was wide open for a TD. Give him a shot with Ryan or Moore and see what he can do. Getting open again 3rd string dbs is one thing....agins the top guys is different.
