for every time Chad Henne overthrew a receiver I would have enough money to buy the Dolphins and draft a better Qb

If I had a penny for every stupid Henne thread like this, I would have more money than you. Dude, he has no receivers, a musical O-line, people tipping balls for ints. He is the reason we were in this game. Yes there is room for improvement, but he did not miss the FG, he did not make the crappy calls negating a TD, and 30 yards of field position, and he isn't on the D getting their butts handed to them the first half. He did this without Ronny, Ricky, a constant O-line and average at best receivers. Henne is our QB, get use to it. The guy played his freaking heart out.

I know its not all his fault and I'm no Henne hater, but I also know we'd be in a lot better position if half of his throws every week didn't sail over the heads of the people he's throwing to. Just so frustrating.

I lol'd.

You'd probably have a dollar or two. No way you'd be able to buy this team.

he is definitely frustrating to watch. can he please stop with the check downs. we must have some kind of check down record!!

HAHAHA so true....you're going to get flamed by the pom pom squad for this but if you watch the games without homerism you know Henne has a lot of work to do in the accuracy department. If we ever get a #1 WR Henne might get the guy killed. Still hasnt learned you dont have to throw a bullet on short throws. I'm with ya on Henne, hopefully he improves with a full season next year.

you could buy 5 teams he is terrible. and has no sense of clock management.

To be fair that's not all Henne's fault. The brainless coaches slow things down because they like to bring in their goal line set. They still havent learned that 1 wr in obvious passing downs is retarded. It's also tough to hurry to the line when we're subbing ****ing Olinemen in and out.

He isnt that bad. He is in his 1st year as a starter. Give the guy a break. Come back a year from now and we will see how he is then.

lol @ making fun of Henne's clock management. Did we forget Pennington's 2 minute drill against the Colts?

He throws high because of two issue that is his own doing but, can be improved. 1) he needs to develop more touch to know when to gun it and when to throw lower without it getting intercepted and 2) he needs the game to slow down for him. Another reason for the throw aways and throwing high on pass attemps close to the sidelines is due to trying to prevent a worse mistake ie. INTs! If he had more options at WR with more separation speed it would help.

Thats all i want from people who bash me for saying Henne sucks. Wait a yr before saying I'm wrong. If he is good next yr i will come say i was wrong to all the people who support him.

Henne is a big part of the reason these coordinators call these slow plays. He absolutely cannot connect on long throws consistently. Henne cannot do much right now, and I don't know if he's worth trying to fix because BOY does he need work. The problems I see with him are things some people just never get past.

Henne is the best QB we have had here since Marino, I know that is not saying much. We would be a 2-3 win team with Penny at QB with all other things being equal. This is his first year as a starter on a team riddled with injuries and the most generic receiving corp I have ever seen.
