So in Free Agency we have signed..

Jake Grove-Center
Gibril Wilson-Free Safety
Cameron Wake-Outside Linebacker
Vernon Carey-Right Tackle
Yeremiah Bell-Strong Safety
Channing Crowder-Inside Linebacker

If I were drafting I'd go like this..

1-Larry English-Outside Linebacker-Northern Illinois

* Why?: Fierce pass-rusher who plays with an attitude. Works very hard and would be a pass-rushing force who would make an immediate impact playing opposite of Joey Porter. Matt Roth was solid last year and excels against the run but doesn't have the ability to get after the Quarterback. Larry English reminds me of Demarcus Ware. From a small-scool so he flys a little under the radar but Parcells has this guy in his sights.

2A-Darius Butler-Cornerback-Connecticut

*Why? A lot of teams aren't as high on his as I or the Miami Dolphins are but I have watched this guy play and his change of driection is just flawless. He runs good, moves well, and is a hard-worker. Sean Smith out of Utah is another option here and we are lucky that this is a deep class for Cornerbacks.

2B-Brian Robiskie-Wide Receiver-Ohio State

*Why? The Dolphins need a true #1 receiver and I truely belive that Robiskie can be that guy. His stock has soared after a very impressive combine and the fact that his father Terry has Robiskie ready to go. He runs marvelous routes and is yet another character guy.

3-Scott McKillop-Inside Linebacker-Pittsburgh

*Why?: This guy has the size that Parcells covets in an middle linebacker. His a guy who you will find all over the field making tackles. Akin Ayodele and Channing Crowders jobs will be safe in 2009 but McKillop is a guy who wants to be on the field.

4-Terrence Taylor-Nose Tackle-Michigan

*Why?: Jason Ferguson is in the final year of his contract and while the front office is high on Paul Soliai they need to get someone else in there, Taylor did 38 reps of 22f at the combine whick illustrated just how strong this guy is. The Dolphins were impressed by how he moved and Taylor's size makes him a true nose tackle. The front office will motivate this guy and bring the potential of Taylor out.

5-Tony Fiammetta-Fullback-Syracuse

*Why?: I know Loushaka Polite did a great job especially in short-yardage situations but Fiammetta is a jack of all trade. He can block, he can catch, he can run, he is just a total ball-player.

7A-Lydon Murtha-Offensive Tackle-Nebraska

*Why?: We need depth at Offensive Tackle and Murtha is an absolute sleeper.

7B-Edwin Williams-Center-Maryland

*Why?: Jake Grove has had injury issues and while Samson Satele moves to Guard we need depth at Center.

7C-Tim Jamison-Defensive End-Michigan

*Why: Parcells loves 3-4 Defensive Ends and despite having Langford, Merling, Starks, and Dotson we need someone to fill Vonnie's void

I agree about most, especially about Robiskie. He's fundamentally sound and can be great for us. Hope he falls to us in the second round.

I'd prefer a Gerald McGrath, over a McKilliop, Darry Beckworth from LSU i think his name is.. he's quick and wouldn't be bad in coverage next to crowder in passing downs...

But hey, i LOVE your first 3, thats exactly what i've been thinking recently, we may have option of DJMoore/ASmith and Butler with our 2a pick.. I really like Butler...

Even your later rounds is cool, i guess, if Parcells drafts McKillop I'll like him, but until then, I'm not impressed...

I don't know about drafting a FB in the 5th. I would almost like to see another WR or secondary there instead. Other than that, I would be pleased. Filling holes and adding depth. Always great in a draft.

Robiske picks blows, he is a crappy to average receiver with one good combine day. Butler is the best pick we could make, but he wont last. Id much rather get Butler and a second tier Lb then English and a second tier CB

I think he is pretty good but if Britt is ther id take him

I wasn't a big fan of Robiskie either, but I think BP would like a couple of things. Size, bloodline, work ethic, and good speed for size. I think his numbers went down from jr. to sr. year at OS but they will look at his total career.

I think we may stay away from Wr, but I would not be surprised in the least if we were to pick this guy up. Especially if we get another 2nd rounder somehow.

Yeah McKillop is terrible . I mean he only had 151 tackles in 2007 , 1 FF, 1 INT and 3 sacks. And in 2008 he had 137 tackles,4 sacks and 2 INT. .Yeah I would hate to have a tackling machine in Miami that can make plays on the ball.

Change the fullback in the 5th, for another CB (depth, youth), and sub Mckillop, and its cash...

That's pretty good - Tim Jamison would be an OLB in the 3-4. I'd rather have Darry Beckwith than Scott McKillop. No need for a FB in the draft.
