The world is yours
Ryan Tannehill is a real talent, he can be a big time QB, and he's somebody I believe in a great deal going forward. Priority number one for this team should be building him up and surrounding him with talent.
My off season plan is simple. I'd probably need a capologist to figure out the nitty gritty of this but whatever.
In the off season I would do my best to work things out with Mike Wallace for next year. He isn't some all time great player but opposing defenses need to respect his speed, he's a good receiver and we need him.
In free agency I would bring back Odrick and Clay, and do whatever I could do sign a starting caliber DT and guard... Perhaps Knighton and franklin. If those guys aren't both feasible cap wise then I'd go to the next tier of player at those positions, but we need to address those positions in FA along with solidifying depth elsewhere like in the secondary.
In the draft I would draft the best available alpha type wideout at 14 (there should be at least 2 there like DGB, White or Parker) and spend most of the rest of the draft picks on the defense, addressing positions like LB and the secondary. I'd also draft a power back late.
Do we have bigger needs than WR? Sure. But like I said, putting as much talent around Tannehill as possible should be priority #1.
Like I said, I'd turn this team around in one off season... Day off day drinking. Hooray me.
