Oh yeah, I'm sure Dan's knees and legs will be happy to take a beating.....I'm sure his family wants to put the Miami Dolphins infront of their father's health.

Based on what? His HOF throw? Realize that there weren't 300 pound mad-men running at him when he was throwing, mlb's werent going for the target on his head, etc...
 
I have no doubt that Dan can still throw the ball. What he cannot do is move around in the pocket, backpedal, or anything else requireing him to use his legs. Heck, if his protection did hold up and he completed a 40-50yd pass, we would probably get a delay of game penalty while was trying to get up to the new line of scrimmage.

I prefer to remember Dan the way he was...IMO the greatest QB to ever take the field. I wouldnt want an ill-advised attempt at a comeback to tarnish that memory.

We all get suckered into threads once inawhile, but I personally go into such threads to see the lashing the thread starter gets.
