You aren't gonna meet with Peyton and then trade the biggest toy you are "suppose" to be selling him on. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Yes, I'd love to see this team actually be in superbowl contention for the next 3 years than waste elite talent in Marshall until he's too old to use his strength and athleticsm.

The Bears are really a second team to me, I watch them anytime the Dolphins aren't on at the same time, I will be seeing a lot of Marshall this year.

Probably, considering the chemistry. Also, a collateral benefit of having Peyton throwing would mean an instant upgrade on our #2 with Hartline and his sure hands taking the place of Garcon or Austin Collie.

Marshall is a quality receiver...but useless if there's no one to throw him the ball. Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne equal wins. Marshall equals inconsistent play.

Yes. I've heard others say Manning and Wayne are simply a stop gap for 2-3 years, but we have to consider that Marshall had 3 yrs left on his contract (I think). There is no guarantee he would resign so if we replace marshall's 2-3 yrs with manning and wayne plus 2 3rds I think its a good trade off.

You guys I love Peyton as much as the next guy but he is a 3 year quarterback and now has NO deep threat wide receiver which just took away at us being a Super Bowl contender. This is a bad move with or without Manning

If this gives us enough cap room to sign Peyton, Wayne, Winston, & Nelson AND WE FIND A REPLACEMENT FOR MARSHALL BESIDES WAYNE then I will be happy. Very short-sighted move if it really was just to sign Peyton/Wayne for 3 years.
