If Miami picks fourth overall and Burrow, Young and Herbert are off the board who does Miami take? Here are a few possibilities....

Tua (depending on workouts etc.)
Thomas (Dolphins desperately need o-line help, but tanking for a LT?)
Jeudy (great player, but hard to imagine Miami taking a wr that high)
Brown
Delpit (too early?)
Epenesa (too early?"
Okudah (I expect Miami takes a corner with one of their #1's)
other
trade down

IF the medicals are not PERFECT on Tua I am taking Okudah or trading down.

Picks that high should only be used on premium positions like QB/Pass rusher/LT and Cornerback. IF there was a future All Pro LT I would go there.

Trade down. This is absolutely the worst case in my opinion.

I would think, in spite of Tua's injury, Miami would run the card up to select him at #4. It's taking a chance on greatness. Obviously they'll be question marks, but ultimately the reward is too great to ignore. Not an ideal situation, but a situation, Miami at this point, can't afford to pass up. If for some reason, Miami does pass, I'd expect them to look long and hard at DT/DE Derrick Brown of Auburn. Miami's run defense has been atrocious on the perimeter of the defense. Brown would go a long way in solving that issue, by gobbling up double teams almost exclusively at DE. He's exactly what that defense needs in terms of physicality and toughness in the trenches.

With Howard, you dont need a corner in the 1st. Has to be Thomas.

Epenesa or Gross Matos, and Biadazs with the other 2

Dolphins have the worst offensive line in the NFL per PFF and there defensive line isn't any better bottom of the league, I'm hoping Tua goes back for his senior year and proves he can play a season without injury because it would be tough leaving him on the board but that's exactly what we should do and build the trenches, love Tua but bringing him in with this offensive line and his injury history makes no sense.

The offensive line will need 2 of the top 5 picks and the defensive line will need 2 with a CB thrown somewhere in there.

If Young is gone that leaves the franchise LT Thomas - we would be lucky to land him at 3 or 4

Fitzpatrick making 8 mill next year let him take another year of pounding while we sort out the offensive line out, maybe-possible Rosen will be ready for another look at the end of 2020-2021.

Tua stay's in school we have another year to look at Tua and Lawrence. That's my hope, that and picking top 3

Have my fingers crossed that DT's aren't in vogue next year and Derrick Brown slips to us with the Steelers pick, that's a long way to slip....

Thomas in a hot second.
So the Dolphins tore their roster apart and traded away a franchise left tackle to start their rebuild with the fourth pick in the draft being another left tackle when a potential franchise QB is sitting there? That would be so Miami Dolphin.
