If no brees, i dont want culpepper

yea, come on culpepper used to be good 2 years ago he is a risk and obviously is a risk worthy of no more than a 4th rounder
 
and i dont feel like putting effort into anymore threads cause you guys are the most critical people on this forum, you cant even make a spelling error and someones givin you shhhit for it
 
what's the point of thread number 3,097 on Culpepper? Everything that can be said about him has been said about him. If I wanted to be put to sleep, I'd just take a shot of NyQuil.

How utterly yawn-inducing.
 
If we don't land Brees, we must sign Culpepper. There is no way Cutler or any of the top QB's in the draft fall to 16. If we miss out on Brees and Pep, we'll be stuck with McCown, Ramsey or Frerotte and a 2nd tier rookie QB 2 years away from starting. I feel we need one of those two guys
 
I'm sorry. Is there something tremendously wrong with the price or health of McCown, Volek, Ramsey or Collins? So much so that this team has to reach for damaged goods?

Did I miss it where Duante Culpepper was worse than Gus Frerotte or any of the other QB's available? Yes, he did struggle this past year but he still completed 64% of his passes, Gus completed 52%. Culpepper also had a GREAT 2004 season so let's not pretend that he's not a major upgrade if his injury has healed.
 
Regarding Jay Cutler, ask yourself this: Do you seriously think he is going to drop to us at number 16??? Just think about that for a moment. Most mock draft picks have him going Top 3! There's NO way he falls to our pick. Cutler's stock has risen tremendously over the past month or two. The only way we get him is if we trade for a top 3 pick, but we'd have to give up an arm and a leg before that happens. Besides, Brees WILL become a Dolphin. He doesn't want to go to New Orleans. Key word: PATIENCE.
