I remember quite a few members here at FH mocking those that thought Cam Wake had a chance to shine after the Dolphins signed him out of the CFL.
IIRC, even Joey Porter was pretty skeptical. Until Mr. Wake showed out in a big way.
Boy do I miss his first step and ability to time the snap.

Cam Wake was a terrific player (one of my favorites). However, he was on a lot of very ordinary underperforming Dolphin teams with lousy coaches assembled by mediocre GMs. Nothing to be gained from wishing that we had Cam Wake now. Respect his contribution to Miami but sunshine, it's time to live in the present rather than wistful smokey dreams of "if only". Enjoy the current assembled talent and what they are accomplishing this season. I'm pretty sure that Big Cam is.
