If our OL is so bad, why not start mc intosh over shelton ?

Just question here, I read many topic where fan tell that shelton was so bad, so why not start d mac over him, last year he was not too bad ?

No idea, I think only the coaching staff would have the exact answer to that..

obviously they are playing the guys that perform the best.
 
I have faith in saban and his entire coaching staff, but I don't understand why not change underperformers players with 2 weeks played ?
 
Either Shelton isn't as bad as people think or maybe D-mac is banged up. or some other reason but I think Saban will not be easy on people who don't play well.

and your thread title really points out the flaw in your arguement - if our OL is so bad, what makes you so sure making 1/5 changes will affect it that much?

This is probably the case. It's possible it takes him a little longer to adjust to a new situation than the average o-lineman, but when he does he'll be more effective than what Macintosh could provide. Even if Macintosh is better now (which I'm in no way convinced is the case), there's no telling how much better he'd be.

This guy is in France, giving props to the Dolphins, asks a reasonable question, and you have to be a smart mouth about it? Pathetic- as is your point about "only" 1/5 of line change being insignificant. Yes, 20% of a line change would be significant, ESPECIALLY AT LEFT TACKLE. This is one of the most pathetic posts I've ever seen on this site. They have a name for guys like you- Ugly American.

To the guy in France- hopefully Jacox will get up to speed quickly and be a positive force, and if Shelton doesn't pick it up quickly I wouldn't mind seeing
McIntosh get a shot either.
