Given both stay healthy does any one think they can do it?; and of course ricky has to stay out of trouble!:dolphins:

Very possible. They nearly accomplished that last year, with Ronnie hurt at the end and Ricky not playing at the beginning.

Man, good ?, it may be tough. Has two RB's had duel 1000yard seasons before?
yeah byner and mack on the browns!
Reuben Droughns became the first Cleveland Brown to rush for 1,000 yards since 1985. In that season, Kevin Mack (1,104) and Earnest Byner (1,002) accomplished the feat. No NFL team has had two 1,000-yard rushers since. Droughns has 1,029 rushing yards this season.

1972 Csonka 1117, Morris 1000, and then Kiick added 521.
just wondering is thats right? not sure i found that thing on byner and mack on the above post

Is it possible? Yes. Will it happen? Probably not.

We would need to be a run-heavy offense, but with Culpepper on board we will be a more balanced attack. When Lewis ran for 2000 yards in Baltimore, they really didn't have a passing game. Even when Ricky ran for over 1800 yards our passing game wasn't very good(Fiedler). Now we have a top 5 QB.

i remember for Denver last year, Mike Anderson had over 1000 yards and Tatum bell was like 50 yards or so under.

It sure is my friend. Do you doubt me? I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious....eh....um...(clearing throat)...nevermind. Not sure where I was going with that. Not sure why your info there is saying that, but yeah, Morris and Csonka 1972. That's one of the big reasons why we won with Morrall at QB. Took lots of pressure off him.

Getting two guys to rush for 1,000 yards may be nice for statistical purposes but I would rather have Ronnie run for 1500 and have Ricky or Beasley go for 500 each...I think it is best to feature one back.

yeah it is i miss read my nfl.com post it says the last where byner/mack but they did do it before that so you are right! my bad i just miss read it and thought it said they were the only ones in nfl history but it really said no one has done it after them in nfl history:o

Well, they had 1,650 hundred rushing yards this past season...

And Ricky didnt play 4 games and was rusty when he came back...

Ronnie didnt play 2 and took a little while to get his feet under him...

Not to mention once Pep gets in the lineup... it will force teams to back off the LOS...

And hopfully our line will have improved... and Beasley should definatly help the blocking as well...

I definatly think it is possible that they get 2,000 comined rushing yards... with a chance of both getting 1,000...
