If Rosen can perform behind this OL we’ve struck gold!

All Rosen needs is an average o-line comprised of guys who are fairly competent at both run-blocking and pass-blocking. Tunsil wasn't good at run-blocking and Flores wants to run the ball. So, IMO trading Tunsil was the right thing to do. I REALLY want Rosen to succeed; that way all of those draft picks can go toward rebuilding the line and the rest of the team.

He can't.

He tried that last year in Arizona and he totally blew.

Did he?... Did he have a running game? ...Did he have consistent coaching? … Didn't he have to adjust to 2 different schemes on the fly? … Wasn't he fresh out of college during all this?

Not excuses … just saying the deck was stacked against him... let's see what we have before writing him off

Will we have a consistent running game? Isn’t he learning another new scheme this year. With a first time head coach. And he already has lost Jim Caldwell who figured to play a big role in his development early on. And once again will be adjusting in the fly. The decks will continue to be stacked against him. Maybe even more so this year, playing for a team whose clearly looking to rebuild and find his replacement. It’s not looking like we’re gonna give him a fair shot based on what I’ve seen

What if the coaching staff know Rosen was a 2 year project? Maybe they would prefer a better run blocking LT?

Maybe he is, maybe they do. Maybe their infatuation with the 2020 QB class is smoke. Maybe we aren’t stockpiling picks to get a franchise QB. Nobody really knows right now. But based on our offseason moves it sure looks and feels like we’re depleting the roster of talent to get a high pick. Teams who feel like they have a franchise or high level QB. Do not typically operate that

There are some good Olinemen that got released with the intent for the team to quickly resign.. I hope we can steal Greg Robinson from the Browns as well as kicking the tires on a few good young ones that got released Spencer Drango would be a target also.

If rosen can win enough games to move us out the number 1 spot he deserves another year, it if not he is another young prospect we can move for draft picks next season. I'd still draft a QB in the next draft either Tua or Fromm but that kid from Washington state Anthony Gordon is gonna leap up boards if he keeps it up.. Its a long CF season

Whether he’s the starter or competing against a rookie Rosen should be on the roster in 2020. As much as all of us would like him to succeed I don’t think he has the talent to. I also think this OL will be much improved From the Gase years so it won’t be as much of an issue as some think it will be.

I am no talent evaluator but when I look at his time at UCLA and watching several of his games, I didn’t think he made that team better. Yep he had a pretty bad OL in AZ but a lot of QBs do. Rosen is in that catagory where he needs a lot of help around him to succeed. We went through that for 7 years with 17.

A lot of things can change in one year. Some guys will fall and some will start to rise. It happens every year.

The slogan for this team is spot on!! T N T! I love it. No one knows what will happen but, its surely interesting nonetheless. What if they defy odds? What if these moves turn out to be good/great? Hmm. Intriguing isn't it? Rosen has amazing pocket presence feels pressure always. This OL will be above average because with Rosen who moves in the pocket avoids sacks/pressure will be able to escape with his speed and he will run occassionally. Basically we need hogs up-front so we can run the ball. We will run about 59% of the time so RUN BLOCKING WILL BE KEY. They will eventually gel if they all can stay healthy. I am behind Josh Rosen because he is a Miami Dolphin and I love my Dolphins. Win or Lose. Go DOLPHINS!!
