Just curious. Do you guys think if Saban goes, so will C-Pepp and Harrington?

I figure if there is a new coach he will bring in his QBs

We have invested too much in C-Pep for him to go. The only thing worse than seeing him play when he was unhealthy this year would be for him to get healthy somewhere else. Harrington is another story, as he is too expensive to carry as a #3 QB.

I could see a new coach drafting a quarterback instead of sticking to C-Pep or Harrington.

Look at what Saban did with A.J. Feeley.

Isn't Culpepper too old to go to college again? I don't think Saban can redshirt him.

I hope Culpepper stays, think about it, at least give him a chance to see him play without an injury... I mean his injury he had wasn't suppose to let him play 8 months afterwards, he was suppose to be out at least a year and a half( key word at least). If he plays bad next year then so be it, we didn't get a good deal with him then we can trade him or whatever. As for Harrington i could care less what happens to him, i personally didn't see him any better then any other average back up QB.

i'm not understanding...what exactly have we invested?...he played 4 games..he may or may not (moreso the latter) be able to function well enough physically by March/April camps to be evaluated as to his form & functionality...so he's a blown 2nd-rnd pick, 2yrs outta football; and likely will be just enough of a tease to have us not address a need position in the April draft?...that's a crappy portfolio is you ask me...:(

maybe not joey, he could be a stopgap for the first half of the season until our first round qb is ready, any body else see the way he tried to help lemon, then he could go back to back up

DC is tied to saban, no new coach will keep him because he will turn out to be sabans mistake, and he wont help groom a young qb, his ego is to big for that.

Harrington is gone regardless of whether Saban stays or not. He was worst than Fiedler, Ferrotte, Lucas, and others before him just look at the numbers, wins losses and QB rating. We draft a QB in the first three rounds, possibly sign another Free agent to compete with Lemon in camp and hopefully fire our coordinator. Cpep will remain with the team if his rehab goes well and will be cut if it doesn't, pretty straight forward stuff I would imagine...

Joey will be cut. If we get a new coach, he will probably give Culpepper another year, but he will also draft a QB, most likely.

I would hope they are both gone because they both suck.
Saban saw that and so will any new coach.
