I would not. Cam Ward looks terrible. We should not be taking quarterbacks who already got a chance at a window with another team and did not perform.
We should be giving a chance to QBs who have not had their window.
Btw, Fields was given a full four-year window with the Bears. Cam situation is not similar. It would be more like Josh Rosen being dumped off by the Cardinals after his rookie season with the team.

Ward has no skill players anywhere on that team.
Yes. Ward is good but a little raw and in a terrible situation. Not having to give up a 1st and can add maybe a stud olinemen while putting him with some weapons in waddle and achane would do wonders.
Agreed it’s an awful situation. They’d be smart to take like 3 1st from the jets

It's a good question. Obviously, you need to explore every option to improve, especially at quarterback.
That said, I'd go with the strength of the draft which appears to be front seven on defense. Miami has a lot of needs on defense.
Maybe take a stab at Allar or Green, as quarterbacks with huge potential in the middle rounds. Get one of them in camp, evaluate with Ewers, and see if you have something.
The 2027 quarterback draft is supposed to be strong. So dive back in if necessary.

I wouldn't trade a 2nd but a 3rd or 4th i would consider

I don't make excuses for quarterbacks. I have nothing against Cam Ward. I would've drafted him #1 overall last year just like the Titans did. However, now he needs to stay where he was drafted, in Tennessee and try to get better.
We need to draft our own quarterbacks and give the starting job to those who deserve it. Right now Cam Ward does not deserve it. That's the latest.

You can’t judge Ward when he has nothing around him. That is the worst roster in the league by far.
I mentioned Jeff George here recently when discussing great arms, throwing motions.
He could really fling it but was really a soulless player.
