I would rather sign Trey Lance, who is still just 25-years-old and looked like he put things together this preseason. He’s an immense talent who was drafted by a team with a roster that prioritized wins over development.

As a Canes fan, as much as I enjoyed watching him while in Miami, I knew he wouldn’t be a good pro. Goes off script way too much and tries to do too much.

I’d rather give Cowboys a 3rd or 4th rd pick for Joe Milton. Let him compete for starting qb. If he doesn’t earn it. Draft qb in 2027

What I'm saying is there are options in the draft, and we need to address the position.
