Hypothetically speaking, if the dolphins win the remainder of their games this year, how many changes if any would you make, and what would those changes be?
Personally I would make very few personell changes. And no coaching changes. The reason I say that is because team chemistry and cohesiveness is very important if you want to win in this league, and you dont want to go changing a bunch of players and coaches because that will require a lot of learning again next offseason, as opposed to just enhancing the understanding of what you already know. If you change coaches, that means new schemes and techniques will need to be learned, and if you change players that means new people will need to learn the current offense/defense and techniques. And if you change both like we did last year I think you will see the same thing as we saw this year. I would probably draft a young OLmen and let him learn behind the veterans that we already have, unless the guy is just a flat out stud and grasps the playbook and beats out the current starter. I would also draft a OLB and bring a vet in from free agency because spragan is non existant out there. And I would also draft or sign a WR and maybe one or 2 DB's. But all of my draft pics would not be expected to start. only if they are flat out studs and smart enough to understand the systems better than the players that have been here a year or two. And the free agents would be brought in to provide competition to the current players to keep them focused on doing the right things.
What do you all think??
