Me and my Father have already agreed to scrounge up the money and book it to South Florida for week 17!!! And a few of my buddies want to as well. The only thing I'm worried about is that the last 5 Dolphin games I attended...we lost. SO I can interpret this as Me being a curse, or that ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME I GET TO SEE OUR TEAM WIN A GAME!! I expect playoff atmosphere that week with so much on the line. Man I hope we slaughter Buffalo this week...

Yeah, it is quite demoralizing...

The way I see it, win out and take it!! And root for Ravens this week, if we can't beat Buffalo and/or Jets we don't deserve to get in the playoffs anyway. I would still be ecstatic if we get in at 9-7!! But I wouldn't be as comfortable watching the post season.
 
I've only been to one game and we won so I can't compare it to a loss but it was amazing. Was in 2008 when the Bills were 5-1 or something, lots of sad Bills fans there that day.

Its highly likely that week 17 game will be for a playoff spot so that'll ratchet up the excitement levels even more.
 
If the Dolphins win and the Bengals and Ravens lose this week your dilemma is solved. Week 17 is irrelevant and the Dolphins may rest their starters.

pats lose out

Pats miss playoffs. We host the winner of CIN/BAL wildcard game at Sun Life on Divisional weekend. nice to fantasize about, but my pragmatic side tells me to hope that cincy and baltimore lose so we clinch.
 
as a matter of fact the longer you wait the more the price goes up. I bought 4 tickets upper section Wednesday night for $52 a seat. now that same section even higher row are at $105.

If they lose while you're in attendance you're to be banned from this site.

Why root for the Ravens. If they win out, they go to the playoffs no matter what we do. We need to win out and have the Ravens lose one for us to go to the playoffs. O.k. Maybe not win out but we need Baltimore to lose one more game then we do (hopefully we don't lose any) for us to make the playoffs. They have the tie breaker against us.

If we lose in week 17 and Baltimore wins, they have the tie breaker against us. They would make the playoffs.

IF miami beats buffalo
AND
ravens AND bengals lose this week
THEN miami is in the playoffs this week

IF they both don't lose,
THEN miami beats jets in week 17
Miami is in the playoffs regardless of what ravens, bengals, patriots, or jesus does

So, if Miami wins this week and Baltimore loses, we're in the playoffs. But if we lose in week 17 and Baltimore wins in week 17, we are out of the playoffs because Baltimore has the first tie breaker on us which is head to head games. Am I missing something?

No offense man but how can you claim to be a fan and not actually know the correct playoff scenarios for your team. We win two and we are in. No matter what!!
