Let's go over our division and take a look at new england...

loss against jets
win against greenbay
loss against chicago
win against detroit
loss against miami
win against houston
loss against jacksonville
win against tennesee

That would Give new england a 10-6 record. Things can translate into others but in the nfl you never know. If they don't get upset by the jets then they might get upset against houston or tennesee.

As for Miami you already know our schedule. For miami to win the rest of their games then they will have to ride with luck. A 10-6 record for a team like new england is tough to comprehend and might be unrealistic. If Joey Harrington tends to play like a pro for the next games then we might come in as a wild card. However I still believe we will be a win behind New England. New England has been rocked by teams like Denver and the colts and almost beat by us so they are not as high and mighty as they use to be.

As for Miami

KANSAS CITY
MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Detroit Lions
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Buffalo Bills
NEW YORK JETS
Indianapolis Colts

I dont think we will have a hard time beating some of these teams except for New England, Jacksonville and the Colts. These three games will help us redefine what kind of team we are. Surprisingly if the colts are still perfect in the last game of the season then it would take Kooch to talk crap about the fins to get this tough win.

The lions game will be an emotional game for Joey as he will throw for 450 yards and 2 touchdowns. While Ronnie will be dragging lions to the endzone.

The jets and the bills will pay for the earlier close losses.

Truth is we'll be 5 -11 or 6-10 at best. Can't start 1- 6 and expect to compete for anything but high draft picks.

I don't think the Colts will be a tough game considering it will be week 17 and they won't be playing for wins at that point. If the colts keep it up they might only have 1 loss at that point. But anything could happen.

That's a pretty brutal schedule. The Chiefs, Jags and Colts are playing really really good. The Vikings, and Lions have played better than we have. The Jills and Jesters and Patsies are division games, and are always tough.

Realistically, I could see us losing all of them. I don't see us winning all of them, at best we might go 4-4, BUT, that's why they play the games!

GO PHINS~!

Believe it. Theres not a team in the league that can handle a Dolphin team like we saw yesterday.

Even with Joey at QB.

I for one am happy with Bell at starting safety. The defense finally got NASTY!!!!!!

Even with Mularkey at QB. It was beautiful to watch these guys respond to kooch. The entire team was nasty. It does get a little depressing though, to know that these guys had the talent but were lacking the heart. We could be 7-1 right now(Pitt beat us straight up). Anyways, it's finally a nice week again to be a Dolfan.

Yeah, a good week indeed. Next up the Chiefs:evil:

Realistically, we have a better shot at the Wild Card.

Assuming NE, Baltimore, and Indy are all division winners as of today. I'm going say SD wins the West. That leaves...

Denver 6-2
KC 5-3
Jax 5-3
Cincy 4-4
NY Jets 4-4

We need Denver to lose 5 games. If you look at their schedule, they have potential losses to SD, KC, Seattle, SD again, and Cincy. They could even drop one at AZ or to SF at home. You never know.
Also, they got pretty banged up in the Pittsburgh game.

If we beat KC, we would be 3-6 and KC would be 5-4. We would then need them to lose 3 more games. They have potential losses to Denver, Baltimore, SD, and Jacksonville.

If we beat Jacksonville, we then need them to lose 3 games. They play NYG, Indy, NE, and KC.

If we beat the Jets, we only need them to lose 2 games. They have potential losses to NE, Chicago, and Minnesota.

And finally, we need Cincy to lose 3 games. They have potential losses to SD, New Orleans, Baltimore, Indy, Denver, and Pittsburgh (they're division rivals and it's the last game of the season).

We need to approach the rest of the season like it's college football. One loss and we're out of the hunt. But if we win out, we have a very good chance.

A wild Card is fine with me, but will 10-6 get us in??? I remember a few years back we went 10-6 and no playoffs.

Nice post. I preach 10-6 because I don't see the benefit of being negative and though I believe we can do it, I know what kind of long shot it is. After your info, it doesn't seem all that crazy.

It's very rare for a team to go 10-6 and NOT make the playoffs. But it does happen.

I would pencil in Denver for one of the Wild Card spots. But they do have the most difficult schedule.

Cincy is having problems, and we play the Jets, KC, and Jacksonville. You know, I just realized...

If we beat KC and Jacksonville and end up tied with them at the end of the season, we would win the tie-breaker because of the head-to-head matchup.

That means this week's game against KC could have huge playoff implications. KC is 5-3. If we win out, and they lose just 3 games, we would get the Wild Card spot. Not them.

Sweet, good post brotha. Yes, these upcoming games are very important.I hope we keep the nastyness up for the remainder of the schedule.
