At the end of the season.

Didn't we make the playoffs when we started 2-4? Not sure if I remember the exact record.

Not a fan of firing during the season. You never want t send the message to the team after 5 or 6 games the season is over, whether they know it or not. Especially not when the players like the HC.

If you do that you might as well clean house and plan on rebuilding. No more Wake, Dansby Marshall etc... Start trading them now.

Unless Ross is plannng on selling the team or moving to LA you don't fire him till after the season

Rebuilding doesnt mean gutting the team. The Dolphins will keep those with talent that fit the new system.

Quite honestly I wouldnt mind dealing Dansby, Marshall and either Langford or Starks for picks.

I hate this whole mentality of keep him around until the end of the season. So what, we can watch a crap team play out the string. Figure out who you want and go get them. Let them start building "their" team now. We'll be that much ahead going in to the offseason and draft. Obviously I want Fisher, since he can step in right now.

I'd like him gone a season and a half ago. That said I don't think we gain anything long term by firing him mid-season. Worst case scenario is the team is artificially motivated by an interim situation and out performs themselves. Then we have a great chance of losing out on one of the great QB prospects.

Only way this season could possibly get any worse is if we honor the Florida Gators at halftime.

:bobdole:

We should consider letting them play for us instead of honoring them at halftime. While theyre at it, hand Urban Meyer a headset and tell him to go get em.

If the Dolphins continue to fail in games, he will be gone, but one of two things will happen, if they choose to give Nolan a chance, Sparano may not see the half way point, if they have someone outside the team in mind, Sprano will not be let go until he end of the season.

Sparano needs to reach the playoffs, or win at least 10 games, or he is looking for a job.

But do they respect him?

No you don't wait until the end of the year. Why the hell is Jason Taylor talking to the team about practicing harder? What the hell is Sparano doing. He has players doing his job for him.

Hmmmm ... no one has yet voted that Tony will "right the ship" and dodge the titanic iceberg. Surprising with all the summer predictions & sunshine analysis!

If the season gets worse when should "I don't have any answers ..." Sparano be fired?

I think we should develop time travel, so we can go back in time and fire Sparano before he ever got here.

Immediately after he secures us the number one pick.
