I watched all of Tua's concussions. Most of them was cause by whiplash. Not sure why a Q-Collar was never recommended. Not sure what Brian Cox use to wear that Square Collar, but I surprised this wasn't a option for him. Tua if you remotely even read Finheaven. Please use a Q-Collar. I don't think it would effect his throwing ability. Thoughts?

My thoughts are what is “if”?

Why are so many of you unsure of his return? Just because Tony Gonzalez or some talking head said so? Never once thought he was retiring and it’s been announced that he never thought that, either.

If for me if the NFL allows him to return. I know Tua ain't going to retire. But please get on the subject with wearing a Q-Collar

The chance of the NFL allowing him to return is greater than 100%. Meaning they would push for him to get cleared and come back.

the Q collar? Not going to pretend to know about them. Maybe you should introduce some facts on said topic that apply to Tua specifically so we can form intelligent opinions otherwise it’s gonna be mindless opinions mindlessly blabbing about what they think this product is supposed to do…

"Because the brain floats inside the skull, it moves – sometimes with great force – when the head is exposed to an impact. By applying light pressure to the sides of the neck, the Q-Collar increases blood volume in the brain’s venous structures, reducing the harmful internal movement that causes brain injury."

Not sure if Q-collar but something has to change, can't keep doing the same thing sending Tua for extra yards.
Tua and the dolphins need to change their strategy,
and Tua has to seek advice on helmets, or any equipment that might help him with those falls and collisions.

Why would it be in the NFL's interest to push for him to get cleared?

I think I remember steve grogan wearing one so it's not out of the question for a qb to wear one

The NFL has nothing to do with it. It's the Dolphins and Tua decisions. The Phins are going through the protocol and allowing him to do his own medical reasearch.
Right now the medical question is why is he spazzing on the field? Others do not have spasms. And he is going to see a neurologist.

Agreed but just responding to the posters comment.

To that point, though, the Dolphins are absolutely going to clear him to return. What he does with that info is up to him, but he’s obviously planning for his return, which really shouldn’t be a surprise… just my opinion.

That’s what I wonder the spasms are crazy and there’s something different about him taking hits then some others
