Well Coach Sparano said in his press conference that Pat Turner (FINALLY) has had a good 2 or 3 weeks of practice and we could be seeing him any time now. Well with us facing the rival pats who we know will put up points this week may be his first time to dress we could use him on 3rd downs and in the red zone that is if he sees much of the field even if he does dress.

If Turner is active who will we move to inactive so he has a roster spot. Our defensive rotation is pretty solid so i do not know if anybody from there. and ST is finally gotten better so to mess up their cohesion right now might cause for some shotty play.

So who goes down if people like Sheets and Turner come up

Remember.. Jerry rice didn't start his rookie year. And had to make in special teams. i am by no means going to compare Rice to Turner.. but just an interesting tidbit on the start of a great receivers career. If we have given Ginn 3 years to mature and develop Turner will certainly see 2. If he can't make it onfield the Trifecta will certain cut him.

Turner is one guy I am dying to see.

People will think I'm crazy for this but my preference would be Bess if it's a wr.

Now that Roth is back it could be Wake but I would prefer if it was Pat White because I don't see the point in him going in the game. Not saying he's a bust or anything silly like that but as of right now it's just pointless to keep sending him him to hand the ball off.

By the way who was inactive last week with Roth in? Oh and has Lex been inactive?

Edit- I just looked it up and it was Crowder, so that means if they activate Turner they will have to sit two guys if Crowder is a go.

I listened to Sparano's day after presser. I know most of it is "coach speak" but Sparano said we may see him up at some point.

Turner wont be active so the OP need not worry about who will be inactive in his place.

And youre correct to assume it was coach speak. It was. All he said was he was improving in practice. And the literal quote was we could see him "sooner or later". Sooner OR later. My guess is later.

And you know that because...?

The point is not whether Turner will be active. The question is who does he replace on the roster if he's activated, barring injuries.

No idea, at first I would say maybe Bess, but if Ginn got hurt during a game, Bess would return kicks and punts. Maybe Camirillo?

Thats a fumble waiting to happen.

The only thing we should use Pat White for is to run out and pick up the tee after Carpenter kicks off. Unless of course we play Uconn, Rutgers, or some other college football doormat in the coming years. Then he could be useful.
