I really do NOT want Wayne to sell the majority of the team. IF he does, will Ross (or whoever else may buy them) change the name, logo, or location of the team? Wayne has done all this for the dolphins and still may sell them. It just worries me that the new oweners will change everything around. Can that happen, and if so will it happen?

He could but I think that'd be an absolutely disaster. You have fans based on your city and your team's history. Leaving Miami, changing the name, or jacking with the logo and making it something terrible like posters here have suggested would be insane.

They're always going to be the Miami Dolphins. Team has way too much history to be anything else. Hell, even the logo is part of "Miami" and the Florida atmosphere. The team will not become the Oklahoma City Wranglers or something insane.

Finding a new team would be horrible, I guess I'd go for the Ravens.

Ross has a place in Miami and grew up a Dolphins fan. Nothing to worry about.
i've heard and read the same thing...so i don't think the team will be moved or changed in any way at all...with the exception of Parcells, and that's up in the air right now...

Exactly....this is not like some Mark Cuban guy swooping in to buy a team and changing things.....Ross has been a liftetime Phin's fan. I heard him talking in an interview and he seems to be a really humble guy and the complete opposite of a control freak like Jerry Jones. I appreciate Huizenga, but I don't think football or the Phins are ever going to be his main priority....he is a businessman first. I think Joe Robbie was a Phin's fan first and then the owner (Robbie just was kind of tight with his wallet).

Considering Ross is buying the team and the stadium I seriously doubt he'll move the team.

Watching him yesterday celebrating...I dont think he will sell more of the team now that the team is actually a winner.

Correct me if I'm mistaken fellas, but didn't Wayne already sell controlling share(51%)to Ross?Apologies if I am wrong. He has been a good owner for us.He has spent the $$$ needed to bring players in here to make us contenders again. But I can't blame him for the actual scout work and drafts of the past.I mean alot of those bad choices were made by Cameron,Satan,Mueller,etc.............

Yes he did, but the agreement was Wayne is in charge. That was Parcells request. Wayne is selling b/c he's worried about Obama's taxes. So the sale will happen eventhough we're winning.

If Parcells walks because he is not Ross' "cup of tea" then Ross can go drown himself on the gulf side. Parcells is more than largely responsible for this teams turn around.

If i were Parcells i would walk. 11-5 might be a tough thing to match next year for this team, and wouldn't you rather go out having turned around a 1-15 to 11-5? It's another fantastic achievement to cap his resume and elevate his godlike status.
