 Miami could of had a crazy draft like this!!

1. Shane Merriman LB_ Chargers
2. Frank Gore RB- Niners
3. Channing Crowder Lb Miami
4. Kerry Rhodes FS- Jets
5.Rob Pettiti G- Dallas
7Reynaldo HIll- CB- Titans

I know its different and all!! But I love The picks we got and all but Ronnie Brown is not that explosive i thought he was!! All I can say is In year 3 He better prove himself and get at least 1400 yards!! rushing and 12 tds!!

I really think frank Gore is better and the sad part is that The Niners Oline isnt that great!! Gore makes them look good!! Even with larry Allen out for 6 games he had great numbers..

I love Roth he will be great bu the homer pick travis Daniels he just stinks!! he was great in 1st 3 games than he was garbage!!

Alabi Vickersonare projects but All i can say is that they wont even make the roster!!

WOOW If we had a draft like this wed be a great team!!

Or lets say We didnt draft merriman id be happier with Derrick Johnson or Demarcus Ware than Ronnie!! Ronnie is just dissapointing for a number 2 Pick!!

Thoughts:mad:

****, we could of also drafted Randy Moss! AND TO! Get the time machine everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What about Chad Johnson. Or maybe we should of traded all our draft picks for the chargers first rounder and drafter Ladainian Tomlinson! Then we'd be good...

Hindsights 20/20, get over it, we didn't have that draft, we never will, why look at the past and say "what if...", it's just pointless.

Can we atleast see how our draft picks fair in a year or so? I mean, do you really think every great player started their career amazing?

I can name you 1000 players that started their career amazing

i hate people who revert back to hindsight. if one more person brings up brees im going to shoot myself. i know you didnt, im just sayin, its unrealstic and childish. its like your freinds playing the hypothetical game with you, "would you do carmen electra or pamela?" its not going to happen so why the hell talk about it.

Actually, looking back is a very good and intelligent way of grading out how well your personnel evaluators stack up against others. This has been, and unfortunately continues to be, one of the Dolphins key weaknesses.

And I'll bring up Brees, because the most renowned surgeon (who actually did his shoulder surgery) said he was 100% - but the Phins docs didn't buy it. Instead, they went against every other experts opinion that Daunte would not be ready and advised Saban to go with him over Brees. Horrible decision.

The niners have a decent O-line, better than ours. They have invested a lot of money and high draft picks in it and the unit started to gel early in the season.

I'm glad that you would take Gore over Ronnie, good for you.

Ronnie was drafted 2nd overall due to his talent level, not due to his production in college. The talent will shine on a consistent basis once we improve this team around him.

Brees is one hard hit away from never playing football again. I don't blame the doctor for not signing off on him, especially now that he's earning $10 million a season. When Daunte comes back healthy next year this won't even be an issue.

When Gore decided to enter the draft everyone said he should stay in college. He was a tremendous medical risk with both knees rebuilt ACL'S. He is an outstanding talent but nothing in his time @ Miami showed that. Second, the offensive coordinator is Norv Turner, probably the best "running attack" coordinator in football. He paved the way for Emmitt Smith, Stephen Davis, Ricky Williams (our Ricky) and now Gore to have career years. You can't compare Mularkey to Turner. We have thee WORST guy for running THEE ball. There were at least 4 games where Ronnie was pounding but Mulark shut it down to get Joey his 40 passing attempts.

What has Derrick Johnson done that makes you want him on this team?

What is your infatuation with thugs??? That's all Crowder and Merriman are. You've got a steroid abuser and a poor tackling penalty machine. I personally find it completely hilarious that Crowder, the tatted up thug, is so amazing in your eyes, while Ronnie, great team mate and hard worker, is slow and mediocre. Shall we compare productivity too??? What has Crowder done to show he is more productive then Ronnie? Nothing, absolutely nothing! You can go through games w/o hearing his name, unless it's a personal foul to extend a drive.

Tatted up thug? Ok, I can understand your disdain for Merriman since he's used performance enhancing drugs to gain a competitive advantage, but "tatted up thug"? I think thats way too harsh for Crowder considering the fact that he hasn't done anything to sully his image since he's been on this team.

wow hes got tattoos so that means hes a thug. what are you 90 and you think cause you have a tat your in a gang or sumthin? its 2006, aloooottt of people have tattoos, that steriotype died a long time ago. plus, crowder was a good pick up in the 3rd round imo, he makes his share of tackles, but keep in mind he has someone named zach thomas making 20 tackles a game next to him, he knows his role right now, take on blockers, or clean up zachs tackles. and iam sure hes fine with that. crowder has done some great things off the field, so make sure you check that out before your clouded tattoo theory makes him out to be some 'thug' from the streets

Wow! Let's focus on the wrong thing shall we? First I never said he was in a gang. Second, I could care less if he has tattoos. Third, why don't you go check out his past. Reformed or not, it's still a checkered history.

My point was that the original poster loves Crowder who has ben fairly anonymous on the field and mocks Ronnie Brown who has worked his butt of for this team and could and should be the focal point for the offense.

Sorry if I offended you or the other poster. But please, tell me how we can justify Crowder as a success and Ronnie as a failure! I would love to hear that one.

first off, apology accepted :goof:

second, i cant and wont justify that...i agree with you about ronnie producing more for our team then crowder. the only thing that got me was you calling him a 'tatted thug'. if you care less about him having tattoos, then why mention it every line? you put the terms together making it seem, sense he HAS tattoos he IS a thug. which is completley false. that was what i was explaining. and thats the only reason we're on the wrong foot here, i agree with ronnie, and i agree he doesnt do too much on the field, i just had the problem with tattoos and thug being merged together like they went hand in hand. that is all....:dolphins:
