Who would you then want to draft in Round 1?

If we were to get Brees or Culpepper via free agency I wonder if we would still go after a guy like Cutler. I doubt we would. Id actually like to see us draft a CB or Safety if we do sign a qb. Then maybe we can draft a backup quarterback later in the draft. What do you guys think?

I would look at the best possible players on the board, and then take either the best DB (Whether safety or Corner...does not matter) or the best LB. I would take a LT in the 1st only if the player was too spectacular to pass up (I personally would not take an O-linemen in the 1st).

As for another QB, I still would take one of the 2nd tier QBs in the 2nd or 3rd....maybe even the 4th (But that would be taking a big chance at missing out on a quality QB to groom for the future).

If you have Culpepper has your QB, you may not have a 1st round draft pick - you'll likely would have had to trade that to the Vikes to get Culpepper...

IF we sign Brees, it would be for at LEAST 4-6 years .... so we wouldn't likely pick any QBs with anything more than a 5-7 rounder over the next 2-3 years ...
