I feel like we are probably going to draft Parker my question is tho if we draft him do we cut Wallace and make him a June 1st cap to clear room for next year?

what are your opinions?

Doubtful the team goes into next year with Landry, Matthews and a rookie as the top 3 WRs.

cmon man! Omar gaurranteed Wallace will be here cus two and only two allowed cuts post june 1st have already happened!

Cmon man! sorry...still drinking.

That's giving Tannehil a very questionable corp. Wallace is not worth his money, but he is 10TD for us.

i don't think we really have a choice but to keep him this year. this will be it for him though, if we sign suh.

How is Wallace not worth his money? When he's on the field everything opens up. If Tanny could him deep that would make this O even more dangerous. When you constantly run pass the D and you can't get the ball you'd be frustrated too. I know I would be. When he left the field in the second half the jet came closer to the line and stopped both the run and the short passing game. Wallace is the key to this offense. One day you guys will realize that.

I would trade Wallace to Oakland for something. They have all that money and no one to spend it on, they're in damger of getting penalized. Trade Wallace for a pick(s) and draft one of the top 3 WRs this year.

We offered Cobb money. If we're looking at WRs in FA, it's possible Miami is looking to cut or trade him. It's possible the Raiders could trade for him if they had to.

If we had picked up Cobb, it may have been the opportunity to trade Wallace for Draft picks. Having failed to secure Cobb we probably go to plans B or C - whatever they are. If these reports about the Dolphins bidding hard for Cobb are true, it also means that Joe was finally prepared to sign off on recruiting a top player from Green Bay (and that would be a first). To date I think that there has only been one very average former Packer recruited since he came on board. While we were unsuccessful in getting Cobb, the simple act of trying to sign one of his boys from Green Bay tells me that Joe is all in on winning now. It's a make or break season and he knows it.

Agree. Not many receivers in this league score 10 td's when your QB can't hit you in stride. He worked hard for those 10 td's, running routes he's never had to run before and running through guys to get in the end zone. In Pitt he just ran deep and Ben would hit him. You have to respect the craft. When we signed him people were calling him a "One trick pony" because he only ran under the football. He's really expanded his game... I respect that. He just needs to do a better job of communicating with coaches and Tanne. Quit pouting and express your concerns like man... people will respect that more.

i say we definitely do not cut Wallace this year. bring in 2 rookie WRs would be great I think... even if one of them were the top 3. To have them develop more, same with Landry, and Matthews, and Tannehill and the rest of our offensive unit... we need Wallace. We need as much out there as possible. itll be very tough to improve and develop throwing them all out there right away without Wallace.

No because unless we draft the next Jerry Rice he is more valuable to us being Tanne's decoy and primary WR even if we never use him as a deep threat

Not enough cap savings to justify vs keeping him for one more year. With Landry, Wallace, and possibly another receiver drafted in round 1 or 2 in a deep receiver draft class would be better than cutting him to save very little money this year vs the dead money that would still be ate up even by cutting him.
