Should we spend our 6th or 7th on a flier for Smardjia if no one else does?

I don't think so. We already have our posession WR of the future in Hagan. We need a burner at WR if anything.

Why would getting Quinn affect whether or not we should spend a late pick on JS?

I would prefer to use one of those picks on someone like Walter Thomas. The 370 pound DT/NT who was almost unblockable during The Texas vs The Nation week.

Because they were teammates at Notre Dame and if he decides to do a Bo Jackson, we could team them up again.

That's a BIG IF for Quinn to fall to 9. Chances are, we need to trade up to land an elite guy like Quinn. I'd rather put a 6th or 7th rounder on Brandon Myles if we go WR there. I think Samardjia will stick with baseball.

Yea, but we could put a flier on him regardless if we get Quinn. I highly doubt he leaves baseball just to be able to catch passes from Quinn. If he leaves baseball, it won't be because he wants to play football more, it'll be because he's maximized his earning potential in baseball.

was just a thought. Teams were said to take a flier on this guy. He was slated to be a first rounder this year. There is no doubt he is a good-great reciever and how tall is he? 6-5?

Any team like say......New England who may have many picks and no use for them any more may do this. Then the guy changes his mind because Tom Brady is throwing to him....well, the same thing could be for Quinn (even though i think Quins chances of landing to us are slimmer by the day....

BTW, what if dude doesnt make it in baseball in the next couple years? That is why you do this.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Leave JS out of this. He is pitching for my cubbies.
Besides like previously said, hagan is due to breakout with more time and we can address other areas and other experiments.
