Would Cleveland have had to take him because of the marketing genius staring them in the face?
 
nope cleveland would of took bpa...if it bpa was ronnie then thats what would of happened
 
Yes. Because Ronnie is a better receiver than Braylon (Per Gruden) and they like to take people with the last name Brown.
 
I dont think that the Browns would of taken Brown at #3. They already have Suggs, on who they are very high on. They also have holdout Droughens, which they will fix his contract. IMO, that would take Rodgers if we drafted Edwards.

Actually they would of probobly took one of these 3 guys who were all next on there draft board after braylon

Shawne Merriman
David Pollack
 
I think a trade could have possibly happened with Minny for a cheaper price than the one we were rumored to be doing. If not then they would have selected either Pac-Man Jones or Merriman.

why do you think those were the guys at the top? and that's waaay too high for all of those players to go.
 
The story out of Cleveland is that had Edwards not been there, they would have taken David Pollack. They didn't really want to because they knew what kind of reaction it would get, but based on what they said after the draft, they had Pollack rated that high.
 
Dudes, this was, essentially, a joke thread.

Not trying to figure out, in retrospect, what defensive player Crennel and Savage would have taken a 'chance' on.

Or who 'we' think the best available player was.

It was a joke.

And Courtney Brown is a DE.

Not the most marketable position, is it?

The Browns would got flammed big time if they took Pollack that high.
