It just hit me that if we squeak in next week, we have beat 3 out of the other 5 playoff teams in the AFC this year.

We have also lost to some of the worst teams in the NFL this year too.
Also if we "squeak" into the playoffs . . . the wildcard game will be against a team we have defeated this season.
Buffalo is just a bad match up for us with their D line and our O-Line. We can match up against so called better teams.

Also, I think if Hartline makes a couple of usually easy catches, it may have changed things today. I like Hartline but wow, he had some drops today and catches too much with his body!

I have a feeling that if we make the playoffs, we will get crushed. Not because we aren't talented but because we show up flat for every big game. If the season is on the line or if it is nationally televised, we play like absolute whale ****!

Some fans disgust me. They wish we don't make the playoffs to clean house. Im sorry but if we have a shot I want to make it in! We beat the Colts, Cincy and Pats. All playoff teams. We played well against the Panthers too!

All that means is that there are a lot of teams that will make the playoffs that shouldn't be there...the league as become a bunch of nobodies and a few elite teams. I want ours to be one of the elites...not one of the "rest"...

Exactly. We beat the Colts, beat the Bengals, beat the Patsies (could've swept them) and who knows against the Broncos and Chiefs? The Bills were about the worst matchup we could've had today. I like our chances of beating the Broncos better than the Bills. After the last 4 years i'm just pleased to have a week 17 game that is actually still relevant.
We have also beaten 3 of the 4 division winners in the AFC.

Well fortunately those teams don't make the dance, so it's pretty irrelevant. This board makes me sick, not you personally but everyone is just week to week and cannot maintain a consistent opinion, it's a joke. Look at the other team's resumes, everyone has endured bad losses, at least we've been in all but two.
Pats lost to the Jets and stole one from the Browns.
Cincy lost to Cleveland.
Baltimore lost to the Rams, Bills, Steelers, Browns
Indy lost to the Rams and got roasted by Zona.
We lost to Buf twice and Tampa. My ass we aren't more deserving than the Ravens!
I was pointing out in my 1st post that we can as easily lose to a bad team so we should not be celebrating. This team has a lot of changes to be made before we can call ourselves a legit playoff team.
I think you mean we lost to two bad teams this year. Yes tampa is bad , but there are about 10 teams worse than buffalo right now. The rest of our losses were to teams in the playoffs or on the cusp.
