I want to start off by saying I'm a John Beck fan and supporter, but I'll really think that Brian Brohm is a gun slinger like Dan The Man and the best QB in the draft by far! I still don't know why everyone is falling for the hype of Matt Ryan, not to mention Flacco, Woodson, and Henne! Henne is ok, but Flacco is unproven (college)and Woodson is just average at best! I think we have all seen Brian Brohm play in televised games and look unbelievable. He is the real deal and all these so called experts are changing alot of your minds because we think they should know more than us, but they don't! Anyway we have alot of options and I know BP will make some good decisions that we could look forward too! Go Fins!

Brian Brohm is a gun slinger like Dan the Man??? Umm...ok

Everyone is not falling for the Matt Ryan hype machine

As for drafting Brohm, why do you think Parcells & Co will overlook his injury history to draft him at the top of the 2nd round. (We don't have a second 1st round pick.)

Why is everyone immediately comparing quarterbacks to Dan Marino? He was one of the greatest, but he hasn't played in almost 10 years, I hate to say this but lets get over it already. Instead of having a rookie come in and immediately bombard him with questions if he is the next Dan Marino, lets find a quarterback (John Beck) and build a team around him instead of using another second round pick on one. Even if Tom Brady was the Dolphins quarterback last year, we still would have won 1 game.

1. GeForce, he said if we traded with Dallas and got both there 1st's.
2. Dallas isnt going to trade up with us for the #1 overall, because Parcells already said Marion Barber would have to be part of the deal and they can't part with him.
3. If by some miracle that trade actually happens (personally i would love to trade down, maybe not that far though) Brohm would be a retarded pick because then we would have to unproven average QB's (Brohm and Beck). If we wanted a franchise QB we would just take Ryan at the top of draft, by trading down we would be saying that Beck is getting a legitimate shot this season and we will reload other positions (OT, OG, CB, WR, S, TE)

Even if we have faith in beck, it is important to bring in a young qb, in case beck doesnt work out. I agree with taking Long first, over Ryan, only if that means taking Flacco in round 2 or 3. Flacco has a huge arm, and will be great in the league. If not Flacco, we could always wait on Woodson, or maybe way later pick up that kid from San Diego state. he ran sub 4.5, and has a big arm. He'd be fun to watch

ya but he is far too small to play QB in this league. I agree we will most likely take another young QB in this years draft but we can afford to take one later since there is so much depth this year in the draft at QB. I would like to see us take John David-Booty late in the draft (probably top of round #4, since i dont think he will be there in the 6th) Carson Palmer and Matt Lienart (not yet) have had promising careers ... why not take a chance on a QB thats came from that system.

Geforce! I'm not saying he's gonna be Dan Marino, but he has all the skills your looking for in a NFL QB and he is very exciting. Like I said before, I really like John Beck, but if we traded down and Brian Brohm was there then we should draft him! IMO Brian Brohm and Matt Ryan should be in opposite places on the draft board and if we would (consider) Ryan at #1 we should definitely (take) Brian Brohm @ 22! That doesn't mean he's gonna start next year, but you always need talent of his level as one of your QB's for the future! John Beck's the starter, McCown our verteran, and Brohm learning in the NFL for the Dolfins future! We are rebuilding and trying to fill all these wholes in one draft is not gonna happen! Thats probrably the biggest whole we needed to fill since Dan has been gone anyway!

If Brohm is injury prone then he would not be a good fit for Miami this year. Expect out QB's to take a bit of a pounding this year at least for awhile until the offensive line gells. Lets face it we will have 3 new starter on the OL for sure maybe everyone playing a new position under a new coaching system so its going to take awhile to come around and any QB is in trouble in that case. For that reason alone I am opposed to taking a rookie QB this year because he may have to play and under these conditions it might ruin his career. Remember H Houck was suppose to be very good and he did have at least some of the same players from years before and we stuggles on the OL every year Houck has been here. If we are sure Matt Ryann is the man then pick him or pass on the QB position altogether and get one next year if needed.

I agree with this statement completely. (Although, neither one of them belongs at #1 overall.)
