As much as thursday seemed like doomsday, if we beat the jets (which we can do), all of us will be fully invested in the chance of going to 6-4 at gb with the Colts up next. In other words, the season is not over. If this coaching staff has any promise, they'll figure out a way to beat the jets with 10 days prep. If they don't, then we know it's time to start over. If they do, then we're all fully back on board. (For one more week at least.)

Rogers, Luck, Brady and Cousins will all trash Miami's defense if they play anywhere close to how they have past two weeks.

For that matter Allen, Bortles and Darnold all might make a run at pro bowl invites after playing us.

If we win next week...then all we get is false hope once again in Gase, the coaching staff, Tannehill, this franchise as we coast to mediocrity of 8-8 or 7-9 once again with a worse draft pick. We will then beg to give them "one more year" and line the streets with excuses. I am a Fin Fan and I'm tired of being average. I want greatness! I believe this cannot happen with who we have running the show now. Time to start over.

I agree.
I'm not throwing in the towel just yet.
I predicted we'd be 6-4 at the BYE week, but I was counting on a win against the Lions. So now to get there, we'll have to beat the Jets next week, and Green Bay on the road which doesn't seem likely. BUT, anything can happen.
If we can get to 6-4, I'll feel better about our chances.

Also, on a side note: you mentioned 10 days prep for the Jets.
For some unknown reason, Gase has given the players off for the weekend, and they'll return next week just as if they had played on Sunday instead of Thursday. What the hell is that all about? So...….normal prep for the Jets, which makes NO sense. We need all the reps and prep we can get, especially on that atrocious defense.

Maybe Gase is drawing up a few more "trick plays".

A win just means that we will have a higher draft pick. We aren’t a playoff team.

I'm not one with the season yet because I need to see how we respond to this 3-0 to 4-4 crap.
BUT, I told myself Gase got this season with his coaches, his players , and getting rid of the ones he wanted .all that happened. Be Be Tannehill back.
If this season goes to hell even with Ryan's injuries, and Ross keeps it all the same then my optimism turns cold.

Nah.

He’s gotta figure out what to do before he can instruct the guys.

While I’m not (currently) a Gase fan, you can bet your ass that he hasn’t taken the weekend off.

And I’m willing to bet that Mr. Burke spent the weekend working as well.

All depends on how we win (or lose.)

Show me improvement, give me a reason to believe we are improving and willing to do the things it takes to get the job done.

This is the game I care about the most. I hate the Jets, beat their asses and I’ll be good till next year.

We all know the cliche. . . You are what the record says you are. My biggest concern is defense (or lack thereof)
