pass on any of these players in the draft, I, as well as all PhinsPhans should be disappointed.

In my opinion this should be the Dolphin's big board.

Jamarcus Russell
Calvin Johnson
Dwayne Jarrett
Ted Ginn, Jr.
Leon Hall
Laron Landry

As you see, there are six players. This means if at least three teams in front of us take other players to fill their needs, we will be able to get someone from this group.

I understand the argument that we need to get younger on defense and possibly look at drafting a D-Lineman or Linebacker, but our front seven is good now and we have done good in the last couple drafts getting young talent in later rounds (Matt Roth, Channing Crowder), We can afford to keep doing this now and not mess with what is the strength of our team.

For those of you wanting an O-Lineman, preferably Joe Thomas, it's too risky. He may turn out great but we can't afford to take a gamble like that now.

When you are drafting at #9 you need to draft a difference maker, and for the weaker side of the ball for your team (in our case, the offense). I believe if any of the three wide receivers are available, We MUST take them. We have plenty of picks in the later rounds to pick up lineman and young proteges for the front seven.

Cmon man the chances of you GUESSING who we draft are as close as you winning the lotto. Even the so called gurus never get right past the 5th selection. I say we get who we get, the rest is BS, and let them play football.

I agree with most of it, I would just swap Jarrett for Thomas, I mean LT is such a need that we'd be stupid to let a potential franchise LT pass us by.

I have a feeling it will be between Hall & Landry, wich wouldn't be to bad.

Not a big fan of Jarrett or Hall, both will definitely be available IMO though.

If we draft Ginn instead of Jarrett or Calvin then we don't have resign Welker at his new increased price. We could spend that money on FA's.

There is no way we should draft a defensive player in the first round. Why shoukd be upgrade the strength of our team, when we have so many problems scoring. ZIf we do not get better on offense this off season, then we will nbe lucky to win six games next year. If we want to be better next season, then we have to upgrade our offense!

I have a feeling Brady Quinn might fall just like Matt Leinart did...and Miami could have a shot at Brady Quinn

Are you saying that O Pace and W Jones weren't difference makers? I think you are trying to say we need a player that will touch the ball and be a difference maker. Also, I think there is just as good a chance that you will whiff on a WR as there is with an o-linemen. Remember these names that were purported to be 'difference makers' : Mike Williams, Reggie Williams, Charles Rogers,Koren Robinson, Yatil Green (ughhhhhhhhhhhhh:rolleyes2 )? I'm sure I've left a few off the list.

To retool.
