Do we go with Chad P. or Chad H. for that final drive. As we all know P. has a weaker arm, but is more accurate, and H. has a stronger arm, but is PROBABLY less accurate. So do we go with Chad P. throwing short passes and receivers running out of bounds or with Chad H. throwing tons of deep balls? And to clarify, I mean the 4th quarter.

Easy. Pennington. Experience and "cool under pressure" are much more important in that situation than arm strength. Especially since the D will have 6+ defensive backs in the game at that point.

I mean obvioulsy Pennington . . . Henne has never seen any real game action outside of one drive against Arizona with us down by a ton (yes he looked good and no Arizona was not in a prevent defense . . . but still) and Pennington has proven that he can lead a team on a final drive to win a game . . . or atleast get us down the field.

I get your points. Its an interesting scenario to bring up, especially if Pennington had been struggling all game, which I doubt we would be in it if he had.

Penny's Brain beats Henne's Arm 11 times out of 10.

(for now....) ;)

Dude we were in this situation a couple times last year and Penny led us to victory. It does not get better 4th than Penny. Unless Marino unretired, I want Penny in the situation.

Dude, Henne was a little shaky/nervous in Preseason Game 1. We'll eventually turn to him in these situations, but not just yet.

Yea, we had similar situations, but not with 1 minute left where every second counts and every completion wastes time. That's why I brought up the scenario. I think the Oakland game was the only one but I was at work that day and Henne was a rookie last season

Our starting QB. The guy who's been in and conquered those situations before. #10. The 2nd rated passer in the league. The MVP Runner up. Chad Pennington.

i think we should bring in Henne to manage a 1 minute Drive.. a kid who doesnt play hurry up a lot. im assuming hes coming in with a cold arm, pretty sure thats going to go in Tony's mind on game day. If Henne had a better chance to score in a minute than pennington did he would be the Starter of that game not the clean up man.. now if were down by 21.. i can see him going in.

simple answer pennington has done it henne hasn't

You should NEVER undermind your starting quarterback. A package play is fine, but if its week two, and you pull your starter for the backup with the better arm, the starter will be bitter about it.
