Do you think if we lose to the Chargers, he's out just like that? Or will they let him use the bye to try to get a big win against the Jets. I feel 0-4 is enough, let the new guy come in and try to work with our people in the time we have to get ready.

But who gets the nod? Any chance we could bring in Pennington from his current job lol :ponder:

I think if Chad wants to coach, he'll coach.

He's got a thoughtful way about him, and I have to say I come off
impressed every time I hear about him.

He's got to earn his chops in coaching though.

as long as its not for the dolphins im fine with it, we dont need another conservative pansy as our head coach, no thanks.

If he goes mid-season (whenever that may be), you just give an assistant the promotion til the end the season. Then you go and get your guy!

who the hell knows with this front office. imo if we get blown out he will be done for sure

i think if we were to get blown out this week, say like 30-3 style, hes deff out during the bye week. even if we lose just regularly, solid chance hes out.

someone like nolan would prob takeover as interim coach until seasons end, when we begin our search for a new coach for what will be the 1000th different coach we have had since shula.

i dont want nolan taking over for some reason

Do you think he's gonna start winning or something?

Probably his history as a HC. But Pennington's problem wasn't he wanted to be conservative, but he couldn't throw the bombs man. I'm sure he saw his guys wide open and knew the play

most of us assume that nolan would be named interim head coach but todd bowles has the title of assistant head coach/secondary

hile this probably means nothing in public views there is this possibility,on a side note.......would nolan really want the interim title being that there really isnt that much of a chance he is retained as head coach or even d-cord
