One of the reasons why I am asking this is because of the unusual roster changes that our coach has been making. Ernest and Ted were projected to start this season and our coaches decided to give the majority of the snaps to Bess and Camarillo in the Cardinals game. I am not sure if this is a bad or a good thing; however, it seems that the team has been a bit more productive with these two players.

Moving into the real question: When will we see a change in the Quarterback position this season? Will Henne step up for us at some point during the game?

Baring injury, I don't think we will see him start until next season.

i agree with the injury part, but if he does start,i think it'll be towards the end of the season.

Yep, next season. When would I like to see him...next week (I don't believe in the whole "ruin him" thing and we aren't going anywhere this year...let him throw 30 picks and be ready for next year...)

I don't believe in this either. Either you have what it takes to play pro football or you have not. Simple as that.

Having said that, I think Henne will start next season.

i mean if we don't win a game likely opponent would be week 11 against the raiders or week 10 against the hawks.

Well, the first part I think all of our receivers are the same talent wise so it does not matter who starts. Secondly, I don't think he starts until next year. He wll get into games in mop up duty and based on what we saw last week, He should get plenty of playing time.

2010. The players around him must be able to tolerate his failures and still win.

This team is like a brisket... it needs a lot of seasoning. Young QBs need a supportive system that enables them to win. We don't have that yet. 2 more drafts.

Better sooner than later!
People say 2 or 3 more drafts, come on!
Sparono won't be here in 4 years. Parcells won't be here in 4 years!
This is a win now league!
He should show us a little something soon ro we will be drafting a #1 QB sooner than later!

I would like to see him next season, but wouldn't be surprised if he started against St. Louis and finished out the season. The schedule isn't that hard and it would also give him some confidence going in to next season (that is if he does well, of course)
