Mine would be to go back and dissuade Shula from hiring "the idiot" Tom Olivadotti and ruining Marino's prime playing years by having a defense that was pathetic!
Congratulations! You just invented a time machine and have the power to use it one time to change something about the Miami Dolphins. It can only be one moment in the past. What will it be?

If Shula could have kept that nucleus maybe a few more super bowls.
 
Win the 1984 Super Bowl.

Some of these changes, are speculation, like just because we don't hire Olivadotti or Wannstedt doesn't mean we actually get anything better in their place, it's just opens up another "what if?" scenario.

I figure we actually made it to the Super Bowl, so it's a pretty small thing to change, but it would've made all the difference in the world for Dan to have that ring.
 
1. passing on Brees twice
1a. passing on Moss and drafting Avery
2. not drafting Wilson in 2011
3. not having a proper GM during Marino's peak
4. signing Suh for the cap hits in the next 5 years
5. not firing Philbin when the Martin scandal surfaced

How about drafting a rookie Tom Brady in the fifth round. He would not have had the same career here with our coaching but he would never play for the pats and probably got us to several playoff appearances maybe more.
 
Mines is very simple, 2008 draft not draft a qb in matt Ryan. bad real bad..you need a qb to build a team..helloo!!!!!!!

How about Bennie Malone scoring a TD with less than 2 minutes left on the clock instead of milking the clock for a last second score. This let Ken Stabler drive the length of the field and throw that waffle pass for a winning TD
to knock the Fins out of the playoffs and ruin their shot of 3 Super Bowl wins in a row.
 
Keeping bill arnsbarger as def coordinator, asst head coach for marino's career.

Marino and Miami would have a handful of rings
