If you could could pick one past player as coach, alive or dead, who would it be?

For me I think I would love to have Zach Thomas on the team as the line backer coach. Maybe even as a defensive coordinator. Peyton Manning, master of the on field audible, always said that Zach was the one guy who could always pick out his plays when he would change them up. He was always two steps ahead of the offense.

He might not be the best fit as a coach, but that's my pick. Who is yours?

Jon Martin ... Just because it'd be great to fire him.

Chad P as QB coach

Dwight Stevenson as O line coach with Larry Little as assistant to work with the guards.

Chad Pennington as OC

Zach as DC

Jason Taylor HC

I know he never even played in the NFL, but Anthony Calvillo, one of the best all time QB in the CFL, just started coaching.... I know most of you don't even know who I'm talking about, but since he played for my home town for most of his career, I thought it'd be cool if he ended up coaching for the fins one day. Funny thing is when he broke the record for most career passing yards by a pro qb, they stopped the game and had a clip of the top 5 qb congratulating him, which Dan Marino was part of, he was quite complimentary in his 15 seconds clip, thought it was all class by Dan...

I'll echo the ZT suggestion. Does anyone know why he's not more involved with the team now? We see a lot of JT, but I'm wondering why Zach isn't part of the team in some capacity.
