If you had to cut 10 players...

If you had to cut 10 players right here and now off of the Dolphins roster. Who would they be and why? Here is my list.

1. Danny Farmer, WR, too much competetion, no realistic chance

2. Jamar Martin, FB, nice blocker but with us using the TE as Hbacks and Evans and Morris, he gets squeezed out.

3. Taylor Whitley, G, enough said.

4. Donnie Jones, P, won't replace Turk, why not let him try to go elsewhere and latch on?

5. Corey Jenkins, LB, Glenn has overtaken him and he hasn't shown much other than on ST, which Glenn also does.

6. Deveron Harper, S, has he even played? Is he the new guy we signed?

7. Kendall Newson, WR, again too much competetion for the fifth spot for him to truly compete

8. Jason Thomas, G, didn't know he was even on the team.

9. Dario Romero, DT, Shaw, Vickerson, Wright will be the young guys on the team, and even those three might not all make it.

10. Mario Edwards, CB, hasn't shown me anything and Howard saved his job with a decent showing against Jax.

That is my list, who would you cut right here and now if you had too?

I hate to let go of Martin the human sledgehammer but im afraid given the fact we may have to keep an extra rb that Martin may be out cause of the numbers game. It would be a shame though.

Cant we just cut Lee and make Martin into a sledgehammer TE even if he is a smurf at the position heightwise? I love effort players like him.

Why would you cut Ed Perry? He is one of the best LS in the game!

Of all the guys on my list Ed Perry's the only questuon mark? I'll take it.Thought we keep Delahoussaye-LS could play C position as well.Perry just LS's we have enough TE's.
 
Ed Perry? Remember how many long snappers we had to sign when he was hurt to replace him, and none of them were any good? That guy is a great player!

Ed Perry is'nt getting cut...if we cut him he would get signed in a second by another team.

I don't see Martin getting cut. He plays special teams and is a masher as a lead blocker.

McKinney is'nt getting cut either. He's our starting center right now.

I think Thompson will get traded in the next week or two.

Seau is gonna start....why cut him while he can still play?

I don't think Minor is getting cut either...he makes the team before Gordon at this point...he can do more (special teams, backup returner).

Lee is a goner.

Whitley is a goner.

Romero is still fighting.

Edwards is still fighting.

Exactly what I was thinking...long snappers who can do the job well are hard to find. It was a disaster when Perry got hurt.

Almost every team in football has a roster spot reserved for a specialty player (kickoff kicker, snapper etc.).

Like I said above...if we cut Perry he would get signed by another team before he finished packing his locker.
