In my view, it's either get rid of Mike Wallace or Ryan Tannehill.
As I've stated before..
"..The Miami Dolphins have a $60 million nuclear weapon, that is currently hibernating and collecting dust. It's called the Mike Wallace deep go route.
Ryan Tannehill is unable to unlock this weapon. Matt Moore might be able to.
Ryan Tannehill & Mike Wallace are a poor match for each other. Ryan Tannehill is good at throwing 10-20 yd direct laser beams, but weak in arcing a deep ball into a super-fast bucket. It's a certain type of touch & timing that Tannehill doesn't have. On the other hand, Mike Wallace's strength is that he's a super-fast WR that catches the deep go route in stride. But on direct throws, he's a body catcher.
Where Tannehill is strongest, Mike Wallace is weakest. Where Mike Wallace is strongest, Tannehill is weakest. It's no surprise that they never developed any chemistry.."

If we could trade Mike Wallace for a young Larry Fitzgerald-type player (better match for direct throwers like Tannehill), then I could see keeping Tannehill.
But Mike Wallace is impossible to trade (because of his monster contract), so it's better to trade Ryan Tannehill. And in future drafts & trades, make sure we get QBs that match our most explosive weapon (QB that is good at hitting a super-fast WR in stride on a deep go route).
Plus, Mike Wallace has proven that he can play at an elite level in the NFL. Ryan Tannehill has always been a mediocre quarterback, in both college & NFL. My position on him from day 1 has been consistent: Ryan Tannehill is a 2nd round talent who we reached for. Tannehill apologists are stuck in the "Sanchize" mentality, clinging to his draft status.
