Which would you want to see let go at the end of the season? You can only pick one. My vote? Philbin. Clueless as a head coach and has that stupid ant eater face.

This is one of those do you want to be shot in the heart or in the brain questions.

Potential franchise QB.

Or bottom tier coach......

:idk:

If I could only choose one it would be Philbin. I think Tannehill could be an average QB, but he needs a coach that can play to his strengths. Philphin is just an idiot. I could see tannehill as an Alex Smith type player. Not great, but not horrible either.

This is a no brainer. It's not even close. You dump the bad head coach and let the new head coach decide what to do with the QB who has a year left on his contract.

You know, like what happened in San Francisco three years ago?

This is an easy one.

You get New coach and a new QB.

Neither of them has shown to be better in absolutely any way from the other qbs and coaches in the afc east.

And give up on all of those silly Marino & JT Disney fantasies once and for all please.

Get a grip on reality.

Former players NEVER make a positive difference, it is the Head Coach and GM that build winning franchises.

In my view, it's either get rid of Mike Wallace or Ryan Tannehill.

As I've stated before..

"..The Miami Dolphins have a $60 million nuclear weapon, that is currently hibernating and collecting dust. It's called the Mike Wallace deep go route.

Ryan Tannehill is unable to unlock this weapon. Matt Moore might be able to.

Ryan Tannehill & Mike Wallace are a poor match for each other. Ryan Tannehill is good at throwing 10-20 yd direct laser beams, but weak in arcing a deep ball into a super-fast bucket. It's a certain type of touch & timing that Tannehill doesn't have. On the other hand, Mike Wallace's strength is that he's a super-fast WR that catches the deep go route in stride. But on direct throws, he's a body catcher.

Where Tannehill is strongest, Mike Wallace is weakest. Where Mike Wallace is strongest, Tannehill is weakest. It's no surprise that they never developed any chemistry.."

If we could trade Mike Wallace for a young Larry Fitzgerald-type player (better match for direct throwers like Tannehill), then I could see keeping Tannehill.

But Mike Wallace is impossible to trade (because of his monster contract), so it's better to trade Ryan Tannehill. And in future drafts & trades, make sure we get QBs that match our most explosive weapon (QB that is good at hitting a super-fast WR in stride on a deep go route).

Plus, Mike Wallace has proven that he can play at an elite level in the NFL. Ryan Tannehill has always been a mediocre quarterback, in both college & NFL. My position on him from day 1 has been consistent: Ryan Tannehill is a 2nd round talent who we reached for. Tannehill apologists are stuck in the "Sanchize" mentality, clinging to his draft status.
