If Ronnie breaks out what happens when Ricky returns?

Are we back to splitting snaps??
 
Somethin like that. Come playoffs, compared to everyone else they'll have fresh legs, then they'll just run over everybody.
 
Well if Ronnie breaks out then I would care less if Ricky would come back.
 
3rd down back, with back up potential. I don't think we'd get more than what he owes us in a trade.
 
Then ronnie is still the work horse with ricky spelling him, or Ricky becomes trade bait..the play of Morris, K Jay, or Griggs still seal Ricky's fate this year one way or the other, it won't be Ronnie's play, as Saban always says, he sees RB as a 2 back starting position.

Aftyer his 4th suspenesion and at 30 yo we arent getting anymore than a 6th rounder, and he would be much more valuable as back up for 2 or 3 years than what a 6th rounder would. Plus he would still play for vet min.
 
2 backs are better than one!

Here in Philly there was the three headed monster a few years back. Our turn to have the 2 headed!
 
probably split and get ricky some carries.i think it would be better for the team if they split time with the ball
 
Well I for one would love to be in that situation. It means we have two very talented RBs. I'm sure its a problem most teams would love having.
 
did anyone know that saban wants split backs this season so if ricky comes back it will be back to a duo
 
Ricky will be at the age of 30 (or very close) and he will be worn down by then. Ronnie will be the lead back and get almost all the carries. Ricky only had alot of playing time because of the fact that Ronnie was a rookie and was new to the NFL. Ricky will be gone to a team in desperate need of a RB in 07
