If you were the owner, how would you reset this franchise?

I’m looking at going after Ben Johnson and a GM who will focus on addressing the OL.

I’m trying to move on from Tyreek and getting a WR on the field with size, to move forward with Waddle and Achane.

Malik Washington, Jaylen Wright, Jonnu Smith (at least for next year) are players.
agree much more with addressing the culture problems and lack of toughness on this team. The obsession with the OL is overblown every year by fans in here. More important to get a coach and GM who stress accountability and mental toughness over gimmick plays and speed above all else.

Anyone who objectively watches this team has to see how bad and soft we are on defense. Getting another guard isn't going to help us nearly as much as an impact defender at any level. We are sub par at every defensive position on the field except for a few veterans.

We have a glorified OC as a head coach and a GM who has left this team with more holes than Bushwood Country Club.

It's not all about the OL, which has been pretty functional for most of the year, unlike most of this team.

It is though. When your OGs are constantly pushed into your QB, you can’t run a real offense (see the Bears).

There is a reason it’s constantly brought up. It’s the glaring weakness of the roster. And it’s only gotten worse with Austin Jackson out now too.

When you have a guy like De’Von Achane and you rush for 30 yards, you can’t be ignorant to the facts.

We can’t block on offense and we can’t tackle on defense. Sometimes things are just that easy of an explanation.

You can’t constantly lose the LOS and then turn around and want to find blame everywhere else.

Let's see. I haven't seen enough tbh. One end around recently but not sure how many targets he has had. Get OBJ out of the way and let him have a proper go. Will guve him the benefit of the doubt for now.

He’s a talented dude. From day 1 of training camp he’s been a play maker. I have no concerns, despite the disappointment on his decision to field that punt while falling down, a cardinal sin.

He’s an ideal no.3 WR. We just need to find that right compliment to Jaylen Waddle on the outside, someone 6”3+.

Ross will be DEAD by the time this team finally wins a playoff game.

Even if he fires Grier were half a decade away with an above average GM.

It will take the greatest GM in football history to turn this around before then.

Were have hardly any talent that's not old and on a bloated contract.

Buckle up, today is the first day of yet another long and possibly fruitless rebuild. With Toss picking the next GM, I give it 5% chance he picks a good canidate. He'll give the job to one of his buddies and try to sell us on going to games by signing soon-to-be washed stars like always.

There’s no rebuild needed.

We just need a different architect at the helm.

Tua can still have plenty of 30+ TD seasons. We need to find him a big No.1 WR.

Waddle should still have quite a few more 1000 yard seasons.

De’Von Achane is just getting started and easily capable of putting up a 2000 (combined) season.

Jaylen Wright and Malik Washington run violently with the ball in their hands.

Jonnu Smith could still have a few more productive seasons.

The new GM will make the LOS a priority.

I just don't see it.

My ability to be optimistic about this current roster, completely went out the window yesterday.

Were the oldest team in the NFL. We've had the fewest draft picks over the last 3 years in NFL history.

Were thin at every position, our best guys are on the way out.

Yea Tua is above average but there isn't a QB alive or dead who could win a Superbowl with the rosters we will put on the field the next couple of years.

Look at NE currently, bad drafting takes YEARs to over come.

I would clean house at the end of the season and hire a search firm to help me find the next GM who can pick their own head coach. The next 2 years should be spent trading away and cutting the players who do not fit into a system that is built around the offense/defense lines and physical football. (Build Inside-Out).

Stockpile draft picks and fill this team with hardnosed, smart football players who are anything but finesse. No more "smurf" receivers and tiny RB's. Draft a LB who can actually dominate a game and an edge rusher who doesn't get hurt every year. Keep drafting QB's until we find a large, mobile QB who can make dynamic plays and put the team on his back every once in a while. We need a culture change to move this organization away from the last 30 years of being a flashy, weak team into what the Steelers, Ravens, etc. are.

Maybe, none of this will happen while the Ross family owns the team but I do not see any hope with the current structure of this organization. And by the way, make our original uniforms permanent so we don't look like a bunch of pansies every Sunday.
I'd get an assistant gm and try to pry one from an organization that knows how to build a team and the trenches. I'd try for a exec for teams like chiefs, lions, eagles who built up fast and have good o line and d line and know how to build through draft without over paying. I'd go for a tough coach that has had success. I'd try to mike vrabel. Say what you want, he took the titans with tannehill to multiple playoffs and to afc championship games. His team had a tough defense that beat brady and belichicks teams in playoffs and his defense was tough. I'd get a good oc that can adjust. Another dc as weaver isn't it. Fire crossen the special teams coach. Trade some of the overpaid players, maybe see what picks can get from tyreek, trade chubb. Accumulate and have the gm build up the trenches on o line and d line, but not a finesse o line but physical o line. An offense can be dynamic but still have road grading o line, look at the lions. They are physical but very good good. I'd draft a qb behind Tua tho as he is one hit away from his career being over

It’s not that hard to address the OL. It just takes someone who wants to do it.

A new GM is going to be excited to take over this team.

We have no linebackers, our corners are old and getting worse by the minute. We have only one saftey who's overrated and on the way out.

We need DTs, at least 3 new Gaurds, a new #1 WR, probabaly another Tackle as I bet Paul busts.

In theory your right, anything is possible but who are you kidding here. It's been 35 years of this same soft ass, incomplete team building non-sense.

You have to be borderline insane to forsee us fixing this in the 2025 offseason.

You will know him as he stands on the sidelines with his mouth wide open

My expression says it all...This would be what this team see's every day at this point.

We are talkin another level here which is way over my head but then it's not that far apart from what we got. At least I know the importance of a great offensive line and how important tackling is. Possibly not kissing the teams azz with bullsh!t excuses week after week, month after month.

Its The Miami Dolphins not Club "Ah" Half Azz "AH"....and I don't care if GM & HC's grew up in a middle class family with a nice green yard.....

Owner is like Organization always 20 steps behind in figuring it out....Thats Reality...sorry
