I haven't seen a thread on this guy, so I decided to make one. This guy was an absolute monster in the Chargers game. We saw athleticism that Sparano has been telling us about. The guy was pulling and owning people. The guy has had to learn on the job against two of the best defensive fronts in the league, and he's improved week to week. Donald Thomas going down the first week was a downer, but Ike's development has softened the blow considerably.

he's really come around and is just bulldozing dudes on pulls, watch the play when ronnie runs over cromartie i think it is, ike just punishes some dude. he needs to work on his interior runblock and we have a hell of a guard in the making

I agree tmny99, when Thomas went down I was really bummed but Ikechuku really has been awesome at the RG spot, and I think he's better than Thomas at pulling, seems he has good feet and runs better than Thomas but not quite as strong as Thomas....I really think we haven't lost anything at the RG position.

I was worried about Ndukwe starting, but we are 2-1 with him in there, so we can't complain.

His veteran presence really helps, especially in selling the Wildcat formation.

another parcells and company find!!! the guy can play OG and really block on the move... i think it's safe to say O-line isn't an area of need anymore thanks to guys like Ndukwe and Thomas... if only barton and mathis work out... the debt on the o-line will solid... with the exception of a backup center!!!

I am just glad we have a front office that can finaly evaluate talent again. It is so nice to have depth and with time I am sure it will improve even more.

good post, i trully agree that "EK" has been a good and pretty quiet surprise for the dolphins .... we might be looking at a Right Guard "controversy" next year :rimshot:lol

ikechuku was signed by cameron at the end of last year off someones practice squad..
it was smart of SIP to keep Ikechuku, becuase he is very athletic...

at first i thought having two quick footed, athletic interior linemen (Satele, Ndukwe) would be detremental to the line.. I thought they'd get over powered... but it'd not been the case... Satele is playing amazing... and Ndukwe has stepped up in a big way...

i really like what this whole line is doing keep it up guys you've got a while till your the best in the league..

i was going to make a thread on this guy but i was to lazy to look up how to spell him name.. haha but almost every highlight i see this guy is blowing his guy up. He deserves a lot of credit and im sure the team sees it.
Lets just remember the O line will only get better the more the play too..
its lovely

i forgot where did he come from again, i know he got cut by someone

Yeah he has been great in replacing Thomas. It seems as if Thomas hasnt left. Idukwe hasnt been noticeable in a good way. He has been great and hope to see it more often.
