I can see us trading Matt Roth for a pick and then making a trade for a WR also. With all of these rumors flying around there has to be at least one scenario that plays out imo.

Dont get me wrong, Id love Bowe or Steve smith but not that many trades go down at the deadline. Why the NFL trade deadline lacks drama

Building through the draft is the BEST way to build a team. That is how you do it.

but sometimes it's GOOD to supplement a position via trade. Just don't do it so much that it hurts your drafting. They know this.

this isn't the NBA or MLB where theres a lot of movement around the trade deadline... dont hold your breath

The Thigpen pick up was a good pick up. We needed someone behind Henne. Thigpen is not horrible. Better than getting a Testaverde or something. Did you feel comfortable having only Henne and White as QBs and Ronnie as the third/emergency QB?

A 5th rounder is a good trade off.
