I like the fact that Cam is sticking to his guns and making decisions that are based souly on what he thinks he can make work ( check with me at the end of the season and see if i still think thats a good thing ) Here i the funny thing, if you would have asked me before the draft if i liked Quinn I would have told you NO BUT when he fell to Miami I almost came unglued when the passed on him. After my blood pressure subsided I started taking a look at some film on Ginn and I really think he can be an immediate impact player. The numbers on Beck are very very good and I really like the Hawaiian connection. I think we made a lot of good moves this offseason, green certainly wont hurt. So IMHO I think the BEST move of the offseason was passing on quinn ( regardless of who we took in his stead) I think the worst move was letting Welker get away. No somebody respond to this cause nobody seems to like my posts LOL

Welker wasn't a horrible move. They picked up a 2nd rounder and 7th rounder for him. He was a good WR and PR but the Phins got good value for him in return. Plus, the Patsies paid him big money that the Phins didn't have to pay.

good point at least we didnt give him away, i guess that is a more personal thing for me , i liked him and he had really proved him self with miami.

Yea well I was surprised that they passed on Quinn just like you and just like many other dolphins fans, but hey we're just fans. These people in the front office are the ones who have the inside info on all of our guys. I hope that Green works out at least for short time that he'll be here, and I think Ginn will make some type of impact as well. It was sad to see Welker go because he was everyones favorite guy but we really got a lot in return for him so it doesnt make it as bad i guess.

i know LOL its funny we always question what these guys are doing because we watched a few minutes worth of game film on some guy and have the audacity to question the front office when they have watched hours and hours of film, whether they are right or not it is safe to say they were more prepared for the decision LOL

Welker was an OK punt returner and a Above average WR for us. He did a good job for us, But I don't know how we got a 2nd + 7th for him. He is now way over paid.

he really fits that slot position well and he is a great Charecter guy, something the Pats coash finds crucial

I'll join ya, but I think I'm gonna end up disagreeing with alot of it. I'm glad Cam doesn't 'follow the crowd' with his thinking but it seems to me that he's borderline hardheaded. He's a little too political in my opinion. He often has a politician's answer. (which means he doesn't answer the question) I'm wondering about his choices with regards to 'old friends' too. With Lemon, Ginn, and Green. I don't mean to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but with our recent coaching history, you can't blame me for being skeptical. I think he has made some great choices though. Overall I like our draft. The Hawaiians are a strong people. I completely agree with Welker being our worst move, but we made out on that, and maybe he didn't bleed the aqua like I thought he did. And I'm hoping our best move hasn't happened yet! (geez, that sounds like a Cam line that I was complaining about!)

please feel free to diagree, ususally when i post i gets ignored all together LOL but it actually sounds like we agree on a lot of points, I am actually happy with our off season thus far, but hopefully you are right maybe the best move hasnt been made, another move to consider was the aqusition of Porter giving us ( or at least close) to the best linebacker core in the league

I loved Welker and the man played with heart, but the first time Ginn takes a kick to the house I probably won't remember who Welker was. I was so excited to get Ginn because living in Big Ten country I've seen a lot of him and routing against him isn't fun because at any second in the game he could take one to the house. Always had to hold you breath and your up a few points but have to kick to TG. Going to be nice to have him our my/our team and bring that excitement to the return game that we haven't had for awhile. Don't think Cam and Trent aren't excited to see how that type of speed can change an offense by doing nothing. Going to be fun this year.

I think that as a reciver it will take some time for him to come around BUT as a retuner he can make an immediate impact. and for a team with a strugglin offense and a great D that can be huge............trust me Im an FSU fan also LOL

Im pretty happy with all our moves. At first as with everyone else i just about fell off my chair when i heard our 1st round pick especially when everything lined up for us to take quinn. I really thought we were going to go with okye but he was long gone that move really changed the whole draft. Welker was a favourite but we got great compensation for him and he was far from replacable. I wouldnt mind seeing cpep stay and battle (if he restructurehis contract) even though i have never thought he was very good.

actually on that note I think Cpep has handled everything very well, he could have complained or ran his mouth but he has been tough, if he is will t omake back up compensation I would keep him over Cleo in a hearbeat but we arent going to keep 4 QBs

Couldn't agree more. I think posters underestimate Ginn. He may not be an elite route runner YET, but Cam will get the ball in his hands. If this guy gets in space it's over and Trent understands how to get the ball to his playmakers.

i admit i have been one of daunte's biggest supporters but what i like about what this means is the fact that john beck will be the man next year and if daunte was healthy i don't know how that would of transpired,,,i'am very happy with beck and can't wait for him to get on the field, that being said maybe we take a shot a the whole thing this year,,,all the pieces to me are set,,the only thing that could hold us back is our inexperience on the oline
