I have a bone to pick with Dan "skinny" Marino. Now before i do this let me assure everyone i am a DIE HARD Dolphin fan, and my favorite player of all time is Dan Marino! I have his jersey that i had him sign framed in my office. My best friend is a die hard Denver Bronco fan, and for the survival of our friendship we have decided not to debate who is the better qb because it will end badly!:fire: Simply put, i grew up watching Dan fling it and will always remember the amazing things he did.
That being said......................................................
For the love of God, why does he pick the dorkiest commercials to do!! I had to live down the glove commercials, and believe me my friends showed no mercy on me. Dan, frolicking around in his gloves. Prancing through the snow...OY, i was teased forever. But after years of therapy I got past it and forgave my man Dan. Then last night, as i was getting ready for bed and watching ESPN up comes Dan in his latest commercial for a weight loss product. Ok, Dan was no Minute Bol, (for all of you young folk, very tall and very skinny ex-NBA player.), so this kinda made sense. Then i watched it and was cringing through the whole thing. Especially when he states, "I have a new nick name....skinny." A tear rolled down my eye and i started dialing my therapist! Please Dan, no more commercials. I can't afford the mental health costs.
Note: before some of you very serious Dol-fans start screaming at me...i'm just having fun. No therapist were called or paid during this post. But seriously, i could live without his commercials.:D
