Frerotte looked bad when he went 2/3 10yds last night??

I didn't get to see the game, but is that enough time to evaluate him??? I mean 2/3...3 attempts only, and you're telling me he looked bad in those 3 attempts??

Someone please explain....

Also, how long did our starters play for??? Why was Frerotte only used for 3 attempts??/ Does that mean he is going in as the starter????
 
people here are crazy, though i will say when its 3rd and 10 and he gives a quick dump off isntead of trying to get a first down, or hes got time in the pocket and takes a sack rather than getting rid of the ball, etc...

i mean i agree that its not much to evaluate on but theres other things you cant tell from stats... but it looks like he'll be the starter...

and ima get at you about a game of madden, ima take that sig from you, haha

it does smell like another wannstedt situation. bring a guy over with an OC and no matter what you have another coach favorite playing before a guy who legitimately beats him out but in this case and after further review ... hm .... there is no question as to who will start against denver.

hes been sacked either five or seven times this preseason; i forget.

It's been so frustrating to watch our QB play for the last few years after what we were so accustomed to with #13 on our side. Coaches today seem to be following the model that says you don't need a stud quarterback to field a winner.
 
Predaphin, How the heck did you get the orange gloves on Ricky???? I've been irritated about the lack of choice in the glove color...
 
There's nothing you can say about Frerotte yesterday. Unlike Feeley on the other hand..who was filthy, disgusting, silly, wussy, little GIRL out there. Sage is a real man. He deserves to start or AT LEAST backup.
 
I just don't think either one of the qbs we have are going to be able to lead this team
 
I believe that the reason he was graded below average was because he didn't move the team while he was in there. No first downs, long completions, etc.

However, I don't know how anybody could have moved the team while the swiss cheese O-line was stumbling around.

Yeah, and two of those possessions would have been first downs if not for boneheaded penalties from the o-line.
 
& Frerotte's one incompletion wasn't his fault. It was a designed playaction roll out which happened to be right into the blitz so he threw it away.
