That is a hard fact to swallow. We haven't played a lot of really fast receivers this season but these guys are going to hammer us.

Those guys are sick as hell. I think we can shut them down because everything goes off of the run for them. If they can't run they can't play action.

Can't remember where, but I think I remember Saban saying something about the importance of affecting the play of the qb as important this week. The way, of course to stop them IS QB pressure and their o-line is not top tier so I would hope we would have some success.

I think we will have to score some points to win this game and if we can't score on Houston's defense we stink. If we lose this game becuase we fail to score 20 points and there are folks in here bashing the defense for giving up any big passing plays I will give up. The biggest probelm the fins have right now is an inept offense. We should put up 30+ on Houston, no excuses. I'd rather win this game 31-30 than 10-0, because if we can't score on Houston there's no hope. Unless we lose this game like 35-31, the blame will be with the offense. In fact if we lose and score under 30 points the offense is to blame.

I agree with you 100% if Daunte struggles against the WORST defense in the league our season is over unless Saban grows a pair and gives Cleo or Joey a chance.

We'll be all right, even though we average giving up 103 yards a game on the ground this season they won't get anything near that.

Moulds and Johnson can do but so much on their own.

huh

Nice prediction, but you don't know this. And if you know it & you're a real dolphin fan, then yeah it'll make you said. Just because Carr had a big game, and our Secondary has been very inconsistent to date, does not mean they'll hammer us. We can gear towards the pass & hopefully our D-line will put so much pressure on him that the only people he hits are wearing aqua, orange & white.

We'd force some sacks because there gonna pass 80% of the time. And their oline stinks lyk ours mayb even worse.

I think Carr is gonna have a tough time getting the ball down the field while watching the game from his ARSE....

well i think you don't know... it's all up to Carr, you dont just get hammered by WRs alone. We will pressure and sack the liven Hell outta him 2moro.

Yup...I think this about sums it up.

I agree that we might have trouble with their passing game. That is why I showed everyone Carr's numbers so far in this thread I started. http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/showthread.php?t=162117

That doesn't mean they are going to win. But the secondary is our weak spot on defense and the passing game is their strong point on offense. It is at least a cause for concern.

And the thing about pressuring Carr and therefore making their passing game less effective. They have played Philadelphia, Indy, and Washington in their three games. Those are three teams that can get to the QB. I'm sure Carr took some sacks. But he was still able to make some plays. We better get good pressure with the front four or start blitzing a heck of a lot better because even the Titans were able to get downfield and make plays.
