I said before the season that I thought we would start the season off 5-2, but I had us losing to the Patriots and Steelers. There is no reason why we can't beat the Titans, Texans, Jets, Pats, and Packers in these next 5 games. We have twice the talent of any of those teams that I just mentioned and I still believe that we are going to win this division.
Keep in mind that this is a team with 2 new coordinators, a new quarterback, and a defense that is still adjusting to the 3-4.(and has a whole new secondary) Of course it was going to take us 2,3, or 4 games to get our stuff together. By the time we get done with Tennesee and Houston, I think we'll be good to go, it's just a good thing that we have 2 easy opponents in the next 2 weeks. However, when we get back from the bye it's time to really step it up because we play the Bears, Cheifs, and Vikings... Not so easy.

Sure there is: our O line sucks, our QB is playing like he's scared of himself and everything else, our DBs are slow, our LBs are slow and our play calling sucks. There are a lot of reasons.

Hope you're right bro....but I'm tossing the towel on this season.

If you're a contender, you don't lose at home to BUF in your home opener, with 10 days of preparation, with no significant injuries, and against an opponent who had 4 DEF starters out. The Pats would have won that game with a season ticket holder playing QB.

Well thats the spirit....hopefully we have more fans like you throwing in the towel after two games. Why bother watching any more games this year then if you quit on your team? :shakeno:

Maybe because REAL fans watch and root for their team even when their team sucks...like ours does this season.

Are you directing that REAL fan comment at me?

BTW, after two games....how do you know that we suck? Because we didn't play well in the first two games, theres no hope?

Looking at the schedule at the beginning of the year, you would think that Miami SHOULD win 4 of those 5 games.

Now, I am just hoping for a win over Tennessee.

And boy did they suck in 2004, but I still watched every game that I could.

I still think we'll be alright. I think it just takes time to gel. The Oline seems to be the source of this mess and we need some consistency there before anything can happen on offense. F you guys that were ragging on Ronnie Brown, before this weekend. That is one tough dude and he's doing it with no line at all. Five sacks in the first fifteen plays I think says it all.

Way to overreact. OHHH THE SEASON IS OVER!!!!!!!! Wow, no good team has ever lost two in a row huh? Oh yeah, CAR, KC, and TB are also all 100%done. CANCEL THE REST OF THE SEASON!!!! :sidelol: Don't forget that there are still 14 games left.

I wait all offseason for this? Geez, what the hell was I thinking? :shakeno:

I'll always be a Fin fan until the day I die, but I'm very disturbed with what I have seen thus far and I'm not hopeful that we will have a huge turnaround this year. I really think Dante is not ready yet. I'm open to giving Joey a chance until Dante is ready. I think we could be looking at a 7-9 or 8-8 year. Even with that outcome, we are still setting up nicely for the 2007 campaign. In 2007 Dante will be fully back, Ricky will be back, our youngsters will be coming into their prime, etc.

The Buffalo game was very disturbing and it did have Wannstedtian qualities.

Despite all of the above, Go Fins!!!! I'm going to root them in till my last breath is drawn.

Seriously think about it before you jump off the cliff, if they get out of thefirst month of the season 2-2 they will be fine. New England is no longer invinceable and let the Jets come back on them. Trust me if we go to Foxboro 2-2 I will feel pretty good about that because if we can steal a win there going into the BYE week they'll be fine!
